The iOS and iPadOS 14.4.1 updates can be downloaded for free and the software is available on all eligible devices over-the-air in the Settings app. To access the new software, go to Settings > General > Software Update.

According to Apple's release notes, the update provides important security updates and is recommended for all users. Apple's security support document says that the updates fix a WebKit bug that could allow maliciously crafted web content to execute code.

Does anyone know if this security fix (Webkit, apparently?) is in 14.5 beta 3? This is serious enough that I want it fixed ASAP.
Could you give me some more info on this security issue? Could simply visiting a website be enough to get infected?

Most likely not. Fixes like this seem to go to production first, then they get rolled into the next beta release.

Patches CVE-2021-1844, but looks like most details about it are still reserved.

iPhone 12 raised blacks fixed by any chance? (It was not fixed for everyone in 14.5 beta, before anyone wants to tell me again it fixed it for them)
