I don't think that's anything to do with it being 64 bit though - iTunes has always been dog slow on Windows and is one of the worst Windows apps there is IMO.

Apple wouldn't want to make the windows iTunes too good. I mean, why switch to a mac if an Apple app works really well on your PC already?
 
Of interest: Apple apparently has simultaneously released MobileMe Control Panel version 1.6.4 for Windows users. See the attached image.

The update fixes issues with recurring appointments and reminders in the new MobileMe calendar.

MobileMe Control Panel for Windows 1.6.4 was released on October 28th.
 
Is AirPlay going to let me push dvd playback from my mac to my appleTV? This seams like a no brainer to me.
 
The only thing 64-bit about iTunes on Windows is the installer.

And anyone asking for a 64-bit version of iTunes in a point release is setting themselves up for disappointment.

There's no 64-bit version if iTunes for Windows. There's an "iTunes for Windows 64-bit" which is completely different. The installer and drivers (as required by Microsoft) are 64-bit, but the program is still 32-bit.
 
Edited stoplight and added colors still work?

Can anyone who edited the position of the stoplight and added the color back to the icons confirm if upgrading from 10.0 to 10.1 will have to be redone, and if so if the same files work?

What a strange point. Why would anyone consider switching to Mac if the Apple software they experienced was awful? :rolleyes:

Hello All,
Just found it interesting that while the iTunes update was installing, right before "Cleaning Up" stage, my iPhone (which was connected) double-vibrated meaning it was unmounted and remounted...
