Hot on the heels of the iPad 2 announcement, Apple today released iTunes 10.2. The update brings compatibility with iOS 4.3 and improved home sharing support for browsing iTunes libraries from iOS 4.3 devices, despite the fact that iOS 4.3 doesn't launch publicly until March 11th.
What's new in iTunes 10.2

- Sync with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 4.3.

- Improved Home Sharing. Browse and play from your iTunes libraries with Home Sharing on any iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 4.3.

The new iTunes 10.2 update is available via Software Update or from Apple's iTunes download page.

It's too bad they didn't add the bold part. Maybe next time. Even if you have to plug in I think Apple should at least let us sync using any computer with home sharing enabled.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

Noticeably snappier

Homesharing is huge. Man, Im surprised this isn't being talked about more. Being able to watch/listen to anything on itunes running on your computer is finally available? This is a feature that should have existed long ago.

No more need for Streamtome and AirVideo while at home. How will this work anyway? Is it in the iPod app? It must be.

Can anyone get Homesharing to work?

I have iOS 4.3 and iTunes 10.2, but have no idea where or how to get the homesharing working between my laptop and iphone. I have it turned on in iTunes, has anyone found out how to get it to work?

I'm almost certain you will need the final build of iOS 4.3 to get that, or else it would have probably been discovered quickly in Beta 3

Awesome! Can't wait to try it out. Oh wait, 4.3 isn't out yet. Um...I guess I'll have to wait after all.

I'm new to the Developer program, how can you tell if it's GM on the developer page?
