Just for clarification - Is there anybody here, who have a successful install of the new iTunes release where it can be opened afterwards?

The update works fine for me as well. I'm on Mavericks 10.9.5, running on a late 2007 24" iMac.
Kinda wish I was back on iTunes 10.7. I miss Cover Flow still.

4 machines of 3 different generations, zero problems. Central server happily streaming, and has wirelessly synced 3 iDevices.

tl;dr - yes.

Featured Radio Stations Issue

Hi all. I posted on another thread also. For me, iTunes Featured Radio stations no longer play. I can play NPR and ESPN, but no other stations play. Anyone else with this issue and a tip to resolve?

Wow. Is Apple trying to make us feel like guinea pigs with all the software problems recently?

Seems so. Just came out an hour ago from the inability to use App Store, Safari (on most https sites) b/c the 'Security Update 2015-004 (Mavericks)' made a mess with some certificates (see https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6984765).

Felt rather stupid to not have waited a few more days before applying this 'Update' from Apple. Where's their QC ?

I do, i'm using win 7, just updated iTunes via Apple Software update, no issues.

11.4 is working fine for my iphone6. No need to fix something that isn't broken.

More reasons Apple keeps giving that their software qc has gone done the crapper. What freaking mess this company is. This is why I wait before posting these days.

Odd issue where the name of my phone on the phone itself changes each time it connects to iTunes (wirelessly). The name on my phone is simply iPhone. After it seems iTunes, it changes to iPhone (insert number here). How weird. I have to change it each time. I just checked now, iTunes is closed, and it says iPhone (2).

This happens to me all the time also, but I'm connecting with the thunderbolt cable instead of wirelessly.

It's opens on my Mac-Mini (Late 2012) with Yosemite 10.10.3.

I'm seeing a bug where iTunes does not see my Photos Library which is on an external disc and not in the default location. Spoke with Applecare support and they are working on it.

Still no iTunes Radio

I just checked on both my Macs. iMac and MacbookPro...no Radio. Just NPR and ESPN on featured stations work. Anyone else?

Had a syncing problem since iTunes 12.0! 128GB iPhone 6. First sync it copies over all of the music & photos requested. Subsequent syncs wipe all of the none iTunes store music from the phone, leaving just iTunes store bought content behind.

Only way to successfully add music to the phone after a first sync is to factory restore (or delete the music database on the phone using third party tools). Right royal pain trying to add something new from CD. Haven't even bothered trying with iOS 8.3 & iTunes 12.1/12.2.1

What sync issue are you getting?

Create a playlist with all the music you want to sync, then in the iPhone music tab, make sure you only have playlists checked to sync. Works every time for me. If I rip new music, I just add it to the sync playlist and it gets added to my iPhone.
