So, I bit the bait to see if things had improved. The menu still sucks ass big time... and is still a moving target. And as for RESET PLAYS... where have they hidden it? It wasn't in the right click menu, or any others, as far as I could see????
In 12.4.1, tap on Library/Songs, there's a new menu either named "Song" or "Audiobook", and it has "Reset Plays". It's not there in the other parts of "Library". Another bug report.

Ok, so i'm new to MAC OS, but not to iTunes, Ipods, pads & phones. (but respectful).
Has everyone forgotten about the iTunes issue with pictures? I still can't get them to stay in order after a second sync. I actually have indeed, found a way to keep them in the order and sync them. They will stay in the order I set, until a second time I sync. Then they go back to "their" way of arrangement setup. The only way to keep it in my order is to re-name the source folder and then sync.
They seem to be slowly getting us used to "living with it".
Also, does anyone else think that in the near future Apple will be preventing us from converting Purchased Music to the MP3 format altogether?
And yes, i get annoyed at Apple sometimes, too. But still far superior to M$ in most every way. I have used and programmed M$ since the beginning 3.1, and ended with XP and a little 7. Now I am on MAC - "It is patience, I learn now".
I am about to update to 12.4.1 and hopeful i can now add my crossfades back in.

Oh and I will be having lots of questions about Spotify in the future......

Any1 Know If They Restore The Option To Covert Songs One At A Time??????

yes, but it is under the File - Convert -
then you will see "Create MP3 Version". It's no longer in the Right Click Sub Menu

Not in the 12.4 update dont know if it was a bug thats why im asking any1 who updated to 12.4.1

Found the solution:

Select song. Then, next top the Apple logo at the top left corner of your screen, click File > Create New Version
Done.

Looks like the idiots at apple removed the menu option when right clicking on it.

But because of this bug, a party was potentially ruined. So this is bad.

I wouldn't say ruined, it was just awkward because people would be dancing to say, a Swing, which is very upbeat and instead of a soft transition, you're suddenly dropped down to a light Waltz.

Meanwhile I'm known for creating the lists so some people including my boss are like "tf, man?" I checked the fades and sure enough they were still there. People moved on pretty quickly, though, so that's good.

Confirmed the bug is fixed because it worked last Friday! Thankfully, it's resolved. Though I wish I had an easier way of playing songs down to length rather than modifying each of their infos. It's not exactly the most convenient form of creating a playlist for a dance party.
