You mean 'ONE', and I use that loosely, new product launched today...

And you mean to tell me that you haven't been able to rent a film on one of Apples ecosystem platforms and watch it on its other platforms????? Wow!! Welcome to 2016 Apple.... a bit late, like a few years late, but better late then never!

I seriously thought you could do this with Apple..

But let's not worry as they launched some new case colours today, and I'm soooo glad they didn't forget to take the opportunity to launch some new watch bands today.. far more important to innovate with that then creating useful features for your entirely closed ecosystem that other open systems have had for years!!:rolleyes:
I wouldn't be surprised if the hold up for rent once, watch anywhere was less technological and more to do with contract/licensing limitations imposed by the studios.

I just registered on macrumors only to tell you that i hate this new miniplayer. why the heck would they make it bigger? why?? so it doesn't fit beside the dock on the bottom of my screen? this must be it. this must be the reason for apple to make the miniplayer bigger

This bug it´s so infuriating, still happening on iTunes 12.6.

The mini artwork in playback bar on iTunes . During the course of an album playback, the artwork will come and go at will. When it dissapears, the notification bubble that comes when a new songs starts has no artwork either. It goes like this: a song will finish and the artwork will not be there in the next song. The song after that one , and the artwork will be there. It´s completely random. Sometimes the artwork dissapears every two or three songs, only to be back on the next.

Bah, already finding bugs.

There's no longer an "X" in the corner to go from Miniplayer to full size view. You have to go to Window -> iTunes.

There is one on mine when I hover over the window.

Mine disappears after a short while

Hmm, it appears mine does too. I don't use it much in that mode so I hadn't noticed. If you slightly drag on the corner of the window it comes back though. Also it looks to be OK in expanded mini-player mode with the artwork visible.

AFAIK everywhere else but the US has 48 hour rental watching timeframes as Amazon does. Apple needs to give us 48 hours to watch it once we start. 24 is not always enough. Spouses fall asleep.

So the artist microphone bubbles still exist instead of showing a photo of the artist?

Yup. Or I fall asleep or a kid wakes up and I can't finish the movie until the next evening.

This showcases apples ability with its services. Which means half baked.

This is a prime example of why I don't use any of their services. I only use apple for the hardware.

The updated was pulled from the App Store. I was trying to download the update from my app store and I kept getting the 311 error stating that the update could not be verified

The Lathe, Jelly, and Stix visualizers are gone. Left, are the classic and regular iTunes visualizers. The classic visualizer got a major performance boost though. :)

Must be a problem on your end.

These direct links have not been pulled and I just checked that the mac app store downloads have not been pulled either.

In any case if you are having difficulty installing it via the mac app store you could try the direct links instead.
