iTunes 7.0.1 is out! Contains various bug fixes!
Apple Releases iTunes 7.0.1
Apple released the iTunes 7.0.1 update today through the Mac OS X Software Update. The new version is also available at Apple's site.
Some users have had problems with the 7.0 update. This update presumably addresses these issues.
And via Software Update.
hooray for improved stability.
I'm going to check those performance issues. The only one I could complain of was Cover Flow hogging a lot of RAM.
I feel a wave of software updates coming out of Cuppertino!
iTunes, OS X, the .mac email changes. More goodness!!!
That was rather quick, although I haven't had any issue with iTunes 7 on PPC Macs.
I just did a "check for updates" on the PC version 188.8.131.52 and it responded with that I am up to date. Not that I really care about keeping my "at work" PC up to date, I store all my music at home on the PowerBook anyway...
Why is it that iTunes 7 always messes up permissions? It seems like getting that right should be a simple fix.
Fast work by Apple.
I really like iTunes 7, save the scroll bar. Hopefully this nails down all of the quality issues.
Is the icon still blue?
Does this update fix that?
7.0.1 isn't yet on software update but is on their site, downloading now.
Fixed my bug...
The only bug that I noticed was that the "Cover Flow" on my Macbook would have degraded graphics in the scrollbar after using them - this fixed that right up.
icon is still blue and i just don't understand why some people are so nitpicky about little things.
oooh that was quick
No Restart Required
Smooth with no restart required.
Uggh... still looks like...
...a windoze app. They need to fix the butt-ugliness along with the functionality.
Can you elaborate? What is it "messing up?"
See here for an explanation.
I'll have to wait until I go home today to see if it corrects my issues with memory usage, authorization/deauthorization of computers, and playback problems. I can only hope...
Hope this returns the option to leave my Shuffle in the source list after ejecting it.
It's the little things that matter most. A child's first cry, a red barn on a rolling green pasture, a babbling brook, the wind whistling over the rotting shingles of a maximum security prison, a bullet piercing the silent night, getting rid of that putrid green icon that has been sitting in my dock for over a year. Those are the things you remember. Just imagine when the ipod first came out if Apple used black earbuds instead of white?... It just wouldn't be the same and podcast probably wouldn't even be a word yet.
Yay! It's finally here. It seemed like an eternity for this thing to come out. When this update cae out I thought Christmas had come early. It's downloading right now.
Nope, just checked. I was hoping for this feature to reappear too.
And the last link on that page is the most pertinent...
