So windows gets a 64bit version, but OSX remains 32bit???
Is there a reason for that??
Anyway downloading the update now.
I just filed a bug report on the mini-player issues so hopefully they fix that in the next point release.
I wonder when Apple will release a version of iTunes that isn't a complete piece of junk. It gets worse with every revision![]()
nope, mac
No change on smart playlists, still SNAFU'd. But no new problems created either so I'll stick with the upgrade for now.
That's a ringing endorsement if ever I heard one, "It doesn't fix anything but doesn't break anything either."![]()
so true. and apple point fingers at adobe for flash on the mac while they do the same for itunes on the windows. btw, that psw bug was there for ages; glad they woke up after all.iTunes in Windows is a pig. Compared to that, the Mac version is bliss.
Any one else have trouble installing this one?
It might just be a case of iffy mp3 files, but ever since I've installed the new version, iTunes has has been hangs quite often -- once during sound-check, another during play and a few more when I've tried to edit the track information.
Ted Landau complains that Apple didn't admit there was a password-prompt bug until the the fix was issued.
I can confirm - smart playlists on my iPhone are still a complete cluster. I guess the notes really do mean it's only fixed for SOME smart playlists, i.e. not mine.
