I'm sure they're rebuilding iTunes from the ground up and will implement a fully 64-bit version for both OS X and Windows in the next major release (where Quicktime X will be released for Windows as well). But this won't happen in a point release. It's just bug fixes for now.
Until Apple stop using carbon for iTunes, which will require hefty rewrite to use cocoa, there is no way they can make it 64 bit. There will be other things stopping it going 64 bit too.So windows gets a 64bit version, but OSX remains 32bit???
Yeah, my Top 25 Most Played playlist on my iPhone is still just a jumble of random songs. I really hoped this update would fix it. We've been waiting so long!
Resolves a problem recognizing when iPod is connected
I can confirm - smart playlists on my iPhone are still a complete cluster. I guess the notes really do mean it's only fixed for SOME smart playlists, i.e. not mine.
Yeah, umm, anyone know what this means?![]()
Thank goodness they fixed the Store won't remember my password bug. Since my password is "honorificabilitudinitatibus" I was getting very tired typing it all the time!

Is there a reason for that??
Now if only they would fix the iPhone to remember the password too... typing it in every time I update or download apps is getting old.Thank goodness they fixed the Store won't remember my password bug. they're not gonna switch to 64 bits in an X.0.3 release.

control + command + z should switch between the mini player and the full itunes window, but now, just as it did when 9.0 came out, that command simply zooms the itunes window between full and regular sizes on screen, not between your regular iTunes window and the mini-player. anyone else running into this?
