Dumbing OS Down!!!

Please don't dumb-down this OS!!! The Macintosh HD is now "All of my files"; Apple shouldn't have to cater to people who do not know how to use a computer well this day in age.

All my files isn't Macintosh HD. It's a smart folder. Disks are shown under devices.

1. 'All of my files' is a smart folder; not a disk (Macintosh HD is).
2. 'Apple shouldn't have to cater to people who do not know how to use a computer well this day in age.'

The whole point of innovation and development in technology is to make it easier for people to teach themselves and others. You totally missed the point.

3. You sure need a 'dumb-down' OS (you still don't know what that means), cause you don't know what you are talking about.

Lagg

Ok I'm using a Late 2008 MBP model, 2.4 ghz IC2D , 4gig ram. But Launchpad is lagging for me big time, when I try to scroll thru my apps for instance. and when i switch windows its not always flowing. Now I know LION still has a few miles to go before it works perfectly, however I wanna know if its the same for other developers with later MBP's or does it flow perfectly?

At the moment, for me, launchpad is a disaster. Hogs resources, and the trackpad shortcut is buggy as hell. As is the show desktop shortcut. Occasionally they'll work flawlessly, but most of the time they just don't work at all, or after several attempts it will work.

I wish there was a way of turning it off at the moment, the CPU usage is constantly at circa 90% for it.
