If you have no internet it skips the check. It checks against ocsp.apple.com for revoked certificates. But that's a soft-fail.

I downloaded it installed it apple documentation states build 20b29 rc2 was 20b28 after installation still shows as 20b28 so problem is same build.

Yeah. Same for me. I downloaded it about 1:30 PM ET, and just installed it, and it still shows as Build 20B28.

Things happen. A month or two ago Office 365 and Azure were completely down for everyone. We couldn't do our ADO builds and access our Office 365 resources for some time.

I’ve shell-shock from it! Seems like a horrid encore we’re having now.

I’ll never forget having to pay to update my iPod touch back during it. I swear it was awful. Gave up and done it that weekend, total unmitigated disaster!
