Since updating to 12.2 my 2020 iMac wake from sleep every minute:

Is there any way to fix this, beside shutting the mac down, which I do not want?
I believe the culprit here is the new Bluetooth-stack Apple has been using. The option for Bluetooth-devices not to wake the Mac from sleep is missing here.
What helped me is physically shutting off my Magic Trackpad, then the Mac would stay in Sleep Mode (I am using a wired keyboard).

So my advice is to shut off any Bluetooth devices immediately when sending the Mac to sleep. AirPods don’t seem to be affected.
Not convenient but way more convenient than permanently shutting down the Mac.

I did some more testing and can confirm this. Whenever I switch off Magic Mouse and Keyboard after sending the Mac sleeping this behaviour does not occur. Ironically switching off these devices also triggers a DarkWake event, but only one.

This is clearly a bug Apple should have found while testing the software. Now it probably will take month until it is fixed.

I am glad a found this problem only two days after updating (which Apple could have done as well). Probably in the long term it would effect the longevity of the Mac.

And I agree, switching off the blue devices is inconvenient, but not as much as shutting down the Mac.

Welp, that update ruined my late 2015 iMac. iStat menus shows all 4 cores pinned, Activity Monitor shows a kernel process is using 500% cpu with no apps opened. Yet the fans haven’t sped up, which makes me worried that my club is gonna fry. I tried restarting but it wouldn’t shut down. I had to force it. Tried resetting the NVRAM, no luck. I’m now going to try resetting the SMC.

Christ this is the last thing I needed. That‘s my production machine.

After a few hours of using the new update, this happened to me with my 2014 Mac mini. The CPU was pegged at 100% usage with the fan at maximum, and the machine was so slow that it took minutes to open Activity Monitor. It never did show a runaway process after several minutes and I didn't want to continue waiting until the process declared itself, so I just shut the machine down.

However, luckily for me, it was fine after reboot, and hasn't shown the same behaviour since.

Folks, anyone notice any improvements in terms of Safari performance and ram usage on this update?

Entities are the worst.
I dunno about that. Maybe they're just misunderstood.

12.2 apparently did not enable 120hz scrolling on safari but my safari seems much smoother on 12.2.

Can anyone confirm if it is now 120hz? Or is it still 60hz but just a bit less choppy?
