Bit alarming that the external display bug is referenced purely as a Mac mini 2018 issue, rather than on iMacs and MBPs too - either they haven't fixed the issue for all, or they don't know fully understand what the issue was.

Still, nearly download on my iMac 2017 with dual, borked external displays so will soon find out.
Well, update done and I'm hugely relieved to see that the issue is fixed and both my USB-C monitors are working again on my iMac.

As above, a little alarming that they've managed to fix it without even understanding what they fixed, but I'll take it.

On an unsupported, but hacked to run Monterrey MBP 2012 retina - update available and updating. For both 2021 M1 MAX MBP and 2019 16" MBP i9 - not yet available in California.

Fixed consistent connection to external RAID drives?

My 2-HDD, RAID-0 box will NOT stay consistently attached to the new Mac Studio- whether using the USB-A or USB-C/TB jacks. I've run process of elimination through everything I can possibly do and am pretty convinced it's a Monterey bug. Same RAID with same cable hooked back up to Intel Macs running older version of macOS have no such issue.

Single drive externals seem to work- at least a group I could test myself- so this may be a RAID-only or mostly RAID drive issue. Unexpected ejects happen whether directly connected or via 3 different hubs I have... and not only if the Mac gets to go to sleep. Lots of the same issues posted by others on this site, on Apple support forums and in other places.

Anybody got a HDD-based, RAID-0 DAS (not NAS) that is maintaining a consistent connection to your Monterey Mac? If so, what model do you have? I need a dependable RAID.

Never had an issue with any OS version for the last few years with mine - 2017 iMac 27" connected via TB3, so it's not a global Monterey thing.

If you are a tap-to-click user, check out this thread

Basically, tap-to-click when pressing CMD, like to open up links in a new tab in browsers, fails around 20-60% of times, making it seem like the trackpad was broken. This bug seems to have been around since Monterey of beta days, and issue seems to be barely acknowledged by Apple.

It happens on all of the new 14" and 16" MBP's as well (led me to return mine). But if you aren't a tap-to-click user, you may be good.
I am, indeed, a tap-to-click user. However, I don't use any MacBook nowadays. I use a Mac mini with an external Magic Trackpad 2. I'll check this to see if it happens to me as well. Thank you.

Hi All, I have been having severe issues with very high CPU usage on my 2018 13" Macbook Pro since I installed 12.3 on it last week that's making it impossible for me to do anything. On checking Activity Monitor for what's causing this, it's mostly caused by the kernel_task Process which has even gone above taking 700% of CPU on my Mac. Do you know if 12.3.1 resolves those issues or if there's any other solution I should try to resolve this? I tried resetting SMC and NVRAM several times but no improvement in my situation.

Is it only for certain Macs?

Not seeing it yet on my M1 Mac Mini in the UK.... Though watch it appear now I've posted this.....
