Apple has posted a press release, so it should be out.

Seeding those CDNs takes some time, and hey there are way more iOS devices to get cranking away, so their bits probably go first. That, or a now smiling Apple engineer decided to **** with Mac Rumors, 9 to 5 Mac, and the rests' auto post bots.
