I don't see any option to update yet. They might only allow for certain regions / users so not to bog down the servers.

I really want to try to the Apple Music updates. I'm hoping I can like artists and see their discography with one click. Allegedly you can do this with this update. If so, I'm going to come back to Apple Music from Spotify.

Glad to see that this year’s macOS updates go with the same version number as iOS ones. E.G. macOS 14.1 released along iOS and iPadOS 17.1

May seem something unimportant (and it is), but it kinda bothered me that Ventura was always one .1 version behind

Which bugs are you encountering?

Not the guy you've quoted, but I've had the following:

Safari post update will randomly show visual repeats of inputted text (MR is especially bad). The text underneath hasn't changed but what you see on screen does. I've had friends tell me they've also had the issue independent of me bringing it up.
My 2019 MBP 16" has random kernel panics when trying to sleep, though I haven't had one in about a week. It now struggles to wake on lid raise, and I often need to tap the power button. That machine also keeps moving the hard disk icon to the bottom during sleeps, which used to only occasionally happen after an update was installed.

Apple today released macOS Sonoma 14.1, the first major update to the macOS Sonoma operating system that initially came out in late September.

The ‌‌macOS Sonoma 14.1‌ update can be downloaded for free on all eligible Macs using the Software Update section of System Settings. Apple has also released macOS 13.6.1 and macOS 12.7.1 updates for older machines.

With macOS Sonoma 14.1, Apple has added a new warranty section that lets you see the AppleCare+ status of your Mac and connected AirPods, plus there are now options to favorite songs, albums, and playlists in the Apple Music app. Apple's full release notes for the update are below.

More information on the features in macOS Sonoma can be found in our macOS Sonoma roundup.

Did they fix about the console.app crash (after deleting logs)

Hopefully the issue I've been seeing with microphone permissions (where the dialog pops up like 8-9 more times despite approving it the first time) is fixed in this update. Interestingly, that popup behaves as expected if you run the application from Terminal instead of double-clicking the icon.

(This is with my M1 Mac Mini. I don't know if my 2019 MBP will behave the same as I haven't upgraded that to Sonoma yet.)

According to this forum, this 14.1 update also corrects an issue where in Adobe Photoshop the Save for Web (Legacy) feature wasn't showing the preview properly. Some users found that by moving the Save for Web dialog window to another screen would show the preview as expected. I'll perform the update later to confirm on my machine.
