Safari post update will randomly show visual repeats of inputted text (MR is especially bad). The text underneath hasn't changed but what you see on screen does. I've had friends tell me they've also had the issue independent of me bringing it up.

Probably related to Safari and not macOS. I’ve experienced the same on Ventura.

OK, so Apple Music now allows you to favourite artists which show up in your library, but you still have to manually add all their songs and albums? WTF? This really isn't very different from before.

We need the ability to add an artist to a library and instantly see their discographies so we can choose which of their music we want to play (Spotify does this!). Who wants to manually add entire artist discographies? Some artist's discographies are HUGE!

Also, let's say for example your favourite artist comes out with a new album. Why not just have it automatically be added to your library? Again, Spotify does this. I swear the developers of Apple Music are completely out of touch with their users. They always have been which is why people have hated iTunes for so long.

So close, yet so far. I guess I'm sticking with Spotify for now.

Force Touch on my TrackPad stopped working after the restart.

Just plug-in the wired connection, and it'll work fine again. No worries.

I just hope they fix the volume issues not being able to see the percentage that I've been having since updating to MacOS Sonoma.

I'm pretty sure the color of the menu bar is determined by the color of the wallpaper underneath it. It's not affected by dark mode or light mode.
your right just noticed it when I changed my wallpaper

Good thing I'm on fiber Internet, updated the MBP from 12.7 to 14.1, the AWU2, and the iPhone all at the same time lol. I tried the game mode with Baldur's Gate 3 for a few minutes and it's too early to tell, but I want to say that the game certainly runs a lot smoother and proper as compared to when playing on 12.7. Maybe it was optimized for 14 in the first place?

It seems that Apple finally gave in on the annoying "App X is sharing your screen" menu bar message. Almost completely gone now while using AltTab, DockMate... 🥰

Crappy update. They didn't fix their stupid Recently Added regression introduced in Music.app v. 1.4.0.118. Together with it, this new update, v. 1.4.1.29, will forever live in infamy. They all will, until Apple engineers get their collective asses together and fix this mess.

Also, text rendering in Safari is STILL messed up beyond all recognition… Check out this post I just wrote a few minutes ago:

FFS APPLE!! Text rendering! Of ALL things, they can't get something as basic as this right?

In my eyes, Apple used to be THE gold standard for great updates to the computers and the phones some time ago. Always had the best track record and you knew that you could update with confidence. Not sure where they went wrong but in recent years I actually dread doing updates on any apple products because I know for certain they drop the ball in one way or another. Not sure what Apple's problem is with getting things right. Really seemed to become a large problem when they tried to do a universal integration with all of their products together.

Please leave direct feedback at https://www.apple.com/feedback and, while you're at it, do check my recent posts regarding the freshly borked “Recently Added” view.

You're right on the money on them being out of touch but, if enough of us speak up directly through the proper channels, they will have to address our complaints at some point.

I didn't want to be THAT guy, but it may have something to do with SJ having passed away and/or the engineers themselves not using the products they write code for (or not doing so to the fullest) and the executives not doing so either and, thus, nobody really caring about QC on a collective level. There's no plausible explanation other than not enough dogfooding.
