Yep. Had no major showstoppers with a clean install on my M3 Pro MacBook Pro of 26.0. Just installed 26.0.1 and Apple Music won't play. Click play and the song flashes up for a millisecond to be replaced by "Autoplay", no album art and nothing else.

On Sequoia 15.7.1 and loving it. No Tahoe 26.2 at the earliest.
Still on Sonoma here, and it sounds like it's too risky to change for now. AI kept turning itself on in Sequoia so I reverted. Does the AI keep turning itself back on in Tahoe or is it too soon to tell?

Anyone else stuck at 2% complete? Progress bar's been here for 30 minutes.

What should I do if it doesn't move?

A large .0.x bug fix (sorry...'update') for sure - I guess we'll be waiting awhile before Apple acknowledges the need for a .x "What were they thinking?" patch for the rest of it.

Question for someone with more knowledge about this stuff than I do (zero)..

Despite the multiple betas before Tahoe release.. no-one picked up on this install Bug? Not one single person at HQ even tested Tahoe on a M3 Ultra prior official release? I find that absolutely bewildering.

This isn't some backyard company .. this is a multi trillion dollar company.

Forget a small visual bug or a spelling mistake.. the thing DOESNT INSTALL. Wtf?
The problem occurred with M3 Ultra users that installed Sequoia 15.7 first, which was released simultaneously with Tahoe 26.0. They probably assumed there was no reason to think someone would install Sequoia 15.7 if they were going to install Tahoe. EXCEPT... software update originally presented Sequoia 15.7, and Tahoe didn't show up for some people for almost an hour afterwards. So if you had your Mac set to auto update, or were impatient, or assumed you needed to install 15.7 first, you were screwed.

anyone else having issues with video playing in browser after this update? No videos will play for me in safari or chrome at all.

Sequoia here. Apple Music might play, or might not play, or might stop playing as well.

At least Apple mean stability!

I ha issues with all the above initially, but no only vo video playback, but no sound. Then I noticed the install had duplicated the input for my audio interface (MOTU M4), and when I clicked on that I had sound and video, but only at full volume. So I had to trash the interface plugin and reinstall the driver. That worked for a day, then I had to do the whole process again a couple days later. And had to do the same thing for the .0.1 update, but now MOTU has released an updated driver, so hopefully I won't have to do that anymore.

Since 26.0, I've had repeatable Maps crashes. Searching for EV Charging Stations (search nearby) shows a series of charge points on the map. But after individually clicking on them to see details, Maps will crash. Typically, just a handful of examinations is enough to crash it.

Ooh, 'nice' spot.

I read your post, gave it a try and initially was like "pfft! Must be something unique to that person's Mac – glad I'm not seeing that bug here!" and then gave a couple more EV Charging Stations a click for good measure and as Steve Jobs used to say… "BOOM!"

People are downgrading in droves because the UI looks like utter $h!t. Time will determine which of us will be eaten our words.

"droves" of people have nothing to do with your initial comment, which is clearly just talking about your personal opinion and hate for the OS:
Never upgrading again until they reverse the UI changes. It looks abhorrent.
Your subjective opinion on the UI changes, has very little value or consequence on what the majority of Mac OS users think about the experience worldwide.

Better option for you - don't update to a new OS, the second it comes out then?

Also, I don't know what you want from us forum members? Sympathy?

Aww poor Boop doesn't like the new UI changes 😢

I like new UI.
same. My only major Tahoe complaint is the killing of Launchpad for something way worse (a simple toggle choice would've been way better). But besides that and the usual .0 bugs, I'm actually enjoying the new UI, across all my devices.
