I'm running RC2 also and not seeing an update. Can someone who has installed the update confirm whether the build number its 22A380?

There is no update, as RC2 is the final version.

FWIW, Apple's developer news site confirms 22A380 as the final macOS 13 build -- the same as RC 2.

Actually, because of the removal of tons of drivers for fourth generation, fifth generation, and sixth generation Intel Core processors, installing Ventura gives back about 4 GB of storage on an Intel Mac

Bizarre feeling being on the MBP 13" 2015. I've always been able to get the latest update. Not sure why other than $$$ that this cut off has happened, all macOS software continues to run fast and smooth.

Ignore the Apple marketing, head over to "Ventura on unsupported machines" thread and enjoy what the devs there have been able to pull off (again!).

Was stuck in that phase for 15 minutes without any change, got angry, restarted the computer, now it's downloading the update again - 12 hours to go.

So... don't do that.

Thank you for that advice! I’m still in “preparing“ mode…it went to 25 minutes (after sitting for 20 Minutes at 30 minutes)

Learned my lesson with 16. Gonna try this out on a non-critical Mac before putting it on my main one.

Interesting people posting slow download screenshots. I didn't get it the second it was released, but on my iPhone and Mac both updates downloaded so fast I didn't notice. Preparing, however, is taking forever.

On a 2GB fiber connection and my downloads are projecting to take 11 and 12 hours respectively on my iMac and MBA.

You're obviously wasting your money on your 2gb connection. It obviously isn't working. That was your point, wasn't it?
