I was personally hoping that the iPhone 7 one would fit the 8 but I'm having doubts since Apple doesn't list it as compatible. I use my iPhone 7 one everyday and won't be happy if it doesn't fit, I mean they are what 0.3mm difference.

These look pretty cool I've only had the chance to use one like this from other companies. I prefer the iphone X leather cases from Vaja, been using those for years now with all my iPhones. I did buy one from Apple but the leather was slippery, and didn't last nearly as long. Hopefully they've corrected this.
Can anyone recommend a good and nice looking leather case, but not from Apple, because their quality is rubbish?
I'm planning on doing the same thing myself, but I'm still gonna protect the glass. I found this glass protector set for the front and back of the iPhone X: Link Here
Nah I won't bother with that, any tiny marks that are made in the glass are unviewable to the eye. The aluminium I was worried about scratching but glass not so much. At least this year glass protectors won't have to go around the Touch ID. I hated seeing people who used screen protectors and ironically having a line go all around the edge of the screen and around the Touch ID making it look like there was a hairline crack!
