Again, a stellar ad!

Yes Apple, you've done it again!

The iOS devices are selling well, it is the Macs that need the advertisement attention!

I like Apple products, but this ad is way overrated in this thread (especially from the first few pages of comments).

So cheesy. Like those poor managers that have to follow the 'magical' cringe inducing scripts for Apple product release vids. "This changes everything. Again" lol. For Apple fanboys & consumer mugs

Why do all apple ads have interracial relationships?

Apple always manage to project a special kind of feel or general demeanor around their products and the use of them. It's something I haven't seen in other adverts where the focus is on exaggerating the wow factor.

I really wonder just how they do it; other adverts look quite primitive compared to those made by Apple.

For balance though, I'm not sure that focusing on the 'experience' rationally justifies a purchase rather than the hard specs which indicate potential functionality.

DAMN IT! I should never have watched that clip...

I want the iPad so bad now, and my only comfort is that it's unsuitable for programming (no IDEs, no compilers, etc).

Is it possible to do this in Lion?

I don't have Ipad, but i would like to do this in my MacBookAir.

In this moment, i am using Leopard, but i hope to update To Lion.

What do you think? Is it possible? Will this funcionality be having in Lion?

To do... what?

AWESOME!

Truly a new way...

Superb marketing message.

Near-perfect.

This is an exemplary example of Apples world class marketing. I'd say the ads like this are responsible for selling more product that the device itself. When a company excels in this area, product functionality and quality hardly matter.

Appealing to the female demographic, has always been one of Apples strengths, they understand who the decision makers are within a family unit. This particular product is very attractive to women due to it's plain non technical appearance. In the picture shown, it looks like a digital picture frame that women have embraced. One that in this case is actually a tablet that's very simple & easy for the ladies to use. No wonder Apple sells so many.

..fanboys and consumers.... So you mean like people then? As in the millions that this product appeals to. Sorry it didnt have explosions and loud music, but those kind of ads generally only attract the type of buyers that have an android phone cos they think it makes them seem 'techy'.

Yep. That's the main difference between this and a PC when you come right down to it. It's also far more user-friendly than any PC OS out there, but its main claims to fame are the fact it's portable, comes with a gorgeous display, and comes with many amazing apps in the app store. Android is less friendly for developers for a variety of reasons, and the slow growth of the Android Market is the result.

Kudos for being so clever as to never miss an opportunity to drag Android in for a good bashing. After all, some were not aware of Apples extreme superiority until now.

Precisely. Android appeals to those people who wish they had tech jobs that pay the big bucks so they have to find a product that they can make a hobby out of keeping it running. The last thing I want is to do tech support for myself or my family on my own time when I write code, debug and bug fix M-F. I want a product that "just works" when I'm spending my hard earned money.
