Another proof that Apple are Marketing genius.
Sorry, but this drives me nuts. Not sure what you meant to say.

Apple is Marketing geniuses? No, that doesn't sound right.
Apples are marketing geniuses? Not sure..
Apple is genious at marketing? That's better.
Apple's marketing is genius? There we go.

I apologize if English isn't your first language.

... is this that 12 year old that likes the morphin metal craptucular android ads?

You just described the majority of iPhone app developers.

because you can't do any of these on a laptop.

(okay, fine, you CAN watch movies on your laptop, but it sucks cause you DONT HAVE TO HOLD IT UP the whole time, in bed, on the couch, ... )

What can't other business do smart, classy ads like these... oh, that right they are a me too product, that's just not good enough.

Would had love to create a campaign like this one time in my career:rolleyes:

Simple, because Apple will sue them for copying them!

Jeez, Its a fricking commercial, stop treating it like its the path to nirvana.

Ohhh! Its Beautiful!

It's an article about an ad. What did you expect the comments to be about? Gee, I don't know, maybe opinions about the ad?:rolleyes:

That really is a nice ad ... but not enough robots and spaceships. How do they ever expect this thing to sell?

I don't see why people think this is amazing, it's just an ad saying random things the iPad does. I think they could make a more MAGICAL ad for a MAGICAL device. (maybe with unicorns or something like that.)

It's classy. It's kept so simple, yet it tells of all these extraordinary things that are now possible. You watch a newspaper? People would call you insane for saying that 20 years ago. That's magical. And to end off with "now you can touch the sky" is simply brilliant. And that is magical

+1

Apple is one entity. Therefore, "Apple are a company" does not make sense. Apple is a company.

When we refer to Apple, would it not make more sense to say "they" rather than "it"?
This a battle between UK and US grammar. Here we go again :D

"Apple are marketing geniuses." is infact correct. == "People at Apple are marketing geniuses"

And Now... Are more powerful options... Like Touchpad, Playbook, Galaxy Tab all with great mobile OSes and a great experience. Apple change the smartphone, but Android teach Apple what people wants on the new smartphone. Apple change tablets, but what Apple will learn from Android next just to make it better? What will Android bring next time? What will WebOS will introduce next time? Are we sure if Apple will be the leader of innovation next year? Do we?

Is Apple going to be just a nice popular Brand or it will be the rebels as they used to bemin the past?

I hope to be buying Apple products till I die. But reality is showing me competition is not dumb anymore.

I'm an apple fan but this post is just lame. There are plenty of android devices that are very very nice and well made. Being a fan of one thing shouldn't mean you have to hate another.

New Android Ad:

Now... We can enjoy plastic devices that cost more than aluminum and glass devices.

Now... We can wonder why some people actually care about build quality.

Now... We can wait for some decent apps to come our way.

Now... We can purchase these apps from shady developers.

Now... We get to experience the onslaught of viruses and malware coming our way.

Now... We don't have to wait in line to get one, since no one else wants one.

Now... We can wonder why we ever bought one in the first place.

Now... We can try to figure out what to do with it.

Now... We can return it, or give it to a relative.

Yes to opinions but more like "Good add", "liked this part...." , "why did they do this...."

Some are making it sound like the second coming of Christ.

Its because simple is the best. This ad shows us everything we really need to know and its what post people want to do with an ipad. Short and to the point.

It's funny, I could do all these things (in better quality though) for many years now on my PC. What exactly is Apple trying to tell us here?

They are trying to say that you can do it portably anywhere you go on a great display and have the feel of holding the internet in your hands...

Yep. That's the main difference between this and a PC when you come right down to it. It's also far more user-friendly than any PC OS out there, but its main claims to fame are the fact it's portable, comes with a gorgeous display, and comes with many amazing apps in the app store. Android is less friendly for developers for a variety of reasons, and the slow growth of the Android Market is the result.

Does Apple really need to put any effort into marketing, though?

At this point all they need to do is introduce it and release it. Profit ensues.
