With 3.7 billion appointments, Santa has to travel fast.

Did anyone else notice that on the schedule, the time he has between the kids doesn't allow him to visit all of them? The first kid has 3 minutes, then the next kid has 4 minutes, then the next is 5 minutes.

The only way he could possibly get every kid presents is by completing one night, and then going back in time. However, if he did this, he'd have to make sure that the "streams" (paths) don't cross, otherwise Doc Brown'd have a heart attack.

I'm glad that Apple got this commercial in before an Android manufacturer did.

Apple made a very tasteful, no bashing commercial. I imagine that if any of the companies who make Android based phones created one like this, it'd alluded to Apple, and would've been downplaying them, so I'm glad that Apple made this commercial before anyone else could.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)

I cannot remember and I try very hard, but what music is used by Apple in this ad?

Its Goldengrove v2 by Keith Kenniff

There are 2 billion children in the world according to this article from october.
Eliminating the "naughty" children and the fact that usually more than one child living at a household, Santa should have much less than 3.7 billion appointments.
Ah, but there are adults who believe in Santa--or who are just good enough to get gifts from him :p

Why does Santa have an American accent if he is from Finland?
He's not from Finland. He's from Alaska. They have flying caribou, too, you know ;)

I wonder what ingredient makes that biscuit green and puts a smile on Santa's face?
Alas, I fear it is merely glittery green sugar. Besides, that sort of green stuff is better in brownies :D

Heh, that's a pretty cute commercial. Although I'm surprised Santa uses a black iPhone 4S instead of a white one, what with living on the North Pole and snow and all. ;)

3.7 billion appointments? And he didn't get some stack overflow error? Cause I doubt that either SIRI nor the iPhone itself was designed for that many. lol

3.7 Billion is the distance (in miles) from which Voyager 1 took its famous 'Pale Blue Dot' image....

It doesn't feel like the other ads. It's cute but I don't like it. I'm not too keen on companies trying to claim Santa as their own, it always comes off like pandering.

I liked the ad, but what immediately struck me about it was how "un-Stevelike" the ad is. The ad is too conventional.

I finally saw this one and had to chuckle and Santa's reliance on Siri. I have not taken the iPhone 4S plunge yet, still using the iPhone 4. How accurate is Siri? I know it is still in beta form, but is it truly as useful as Apple marketing wants you to believe?

I find it extremely accurate, even with my italian accent I rarely have any issues with it. She's more accurate than my Audi A4 voice commands.
