Apple Releases Official iPhone 2.0 Firmware

Mine says that there are no updates available, and that 2.0 is the current version. I have no idea if this is an indicator that the build is the same as the one installed by so many yesterday.

Also, me.com is embarrassingly slow. It is going to be a tough sell to get proficient users to move from faster free services to a slower paid service like me.com.
 
I've been clicking since 7:59am and still nothing. I wasn't going to get the 3G, but I might have to go down to the apple store to save this torture.
 
Got it...

Just became available for me (US) at about 8:22....a few minutes after this post. Might have been a mirroring issue?
 
Not seeing it yet either. I hope the official firmware release turns out better than the MobileMe changeover 🙄
 
It's available on the U.S. east coast

I've just checked and am now downloading the new 2.0 firmware via iTunes. I'm on the U.S. east coast but my phone's area code is in California. I just hope the update is fast enough that I can leave for work in the next hour.
 
I installed 2.0 yesterday and checked for an update in iTunes today. It said that the version of 2.0 I am running is up to date.
