Odd how all of you on fast connections are waiting for hours (if it is accurate) and I'm on 8mbps ADSL in a market town and only have 2 mins remaining out of about 8…

:(

I have 25mbps down and my iMac update is download just fine, but the estimated time is jumping from 11 mins to 25 mins, then back to 11 then to 2 mins then 5. Buts its downloading normally, just that the time is off.

ugh, nothing about wifi dropouts?

really...frick! i can't enjoy my mac when it doesn't connect to the internet or drops out every 2 hrs. :(

there are 3 updates for SL 10.6.8 too! including iPhoto, iMovies
iWorks for iOS gets update.

Busy day!!

I'm downloading on two machines. The Lion Recovery Update thing was super slow, but as soon as it finished with that and hit the 10.7.2 download it rocketed up again :D Still on the slow side (for my available bandwidth) but now estimates are under 30 minutes.

When I started downloading both the Recovery Update + 10.7.2 together, the first 50 mb were quick but then it slowed to a crawl (8 hours left).

I stopped, and now re-downloaded just 10.7.2 (450 mb) in 5 minutes.

So if I'm still running Snow Leopard will I not get the full iCloud experience?

Nope, not unless Apple releases an update for SL. You'll have very little of it (iTunes redownloads which we have had already).

Heehee! I feel like a little kid today!

It's like the excitement of Christmas morning when you were a kid and believed in Santa Claus.

so... lets see... iPhone rumors overed, iOS rumors overed, iCloud rumors overed, 10.7.2 rumors overed... just iPad 3 and we are out of rumors... great ;)

Nah... the iPhone 5 rumors (or 6 depending on how you want to look at it) have already began... and there's the Apple TV- a television.... oh, and the touch screen iMac rumor will rebound soon I'm sure.

I'm waiting to see if Apple's servers die this time (thinking back to Mobile Me launch). Maybe this is too soon... but the Cupertino campus might get a haunting if it bombs from the late Jobs who is now in his own iCloud.

"What does Mobile Me Do?" "Great, then why the F(#$)#! doesn't it do that?" RIP Steve

Downloading now...33 hours and I'm in business!

UPDATE: 112 hours now...to hell with work, getting the popcorn ready.

UPDATE: Okay, stopped download and then just downloaded 10.7.2 instead of both Lion Recovery and 10.7.2 and it took just 7 minutes.

How will this work with multiple iCloud users on one mac?
