It works as usual for me.
b) The Console window resizing bug (when you resize the Console window and then quit Console, it will default back to the original size upon re-open)
Security fixes generally get reported separately and appear at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1222 about a day or so after the update has been made available (to give some time for at least some people, if not a good number to update before the security issues are publicly listed--in quite a few cases the fixes are for things that haven't been publicly discovered/disclosed).
Hmmm. After the update Spotify just closes on me... I uninstalled and and reinstalled it again but nothing =( oh well. I'll see what their support say about this. Thanks again.
yes, keeps crapping out for me too.. will wait until later when things calm down
I'm betting it's a peering issue. In other words, the connection points at which Netflix traffic enters your ISP's network are congested. It's a very common issue, especially with larger ISPs. Try a commercial VPN. I use Private Internet Access myself (privateinternetaccess.com). It changes the route your traffic takes, avoiding the congestion. Netflix is unusable in my area without it.
I hope it fixes the bug where all other bugs are fixed. I would also like spaces to return in 10.9.2.1.5.4.0.7
Thank you for replying with even more pointless post.
So the update has failed for me. In the middle of updating it suddenly displayed login screen and then prompted me that some updates weren't installed.
Unfortunately AppStore shows 10.9.2 as if it was properly installed (which is not). gotofail.com still says my browser is vulnerable and about this mac reveals 10.9.1.
Bummer.
While it does not work as you want it seems to me it works the way they want. To start with different window size go to "Settings|Settings|Windows" and change the "Windows size" rows and/or columns. A bit awkward, yes, but don't expect any fix for it.
I saw the same thing (MBP mid-2009). I didn't enter my iCloud stuff but everything worked as expected.Did it ask anyone else to set up iCloud again and then say the computer was set up as if it had done a reinstall?
For me it went to a grey screen with the App Store icon where it installed, then restarted and continued installing, and then asked me to log into iCloud and something else I forget. All my data is on the computer still, at least from what I can tell, but it seems like a few settings may have changed.
I can't remember a .1 update saying your computer has now been set up, as if I had done a reinstall, before.
You are talking about Terminal. Console in OS X is entirely different: it is the application where you can go through all the logfiles. Quite different than "console" in LinuxWhile it does not work as you want it seems to me it works the way they want. To start with different window size go to "Settings|Settings|Windows" and change the "Windows size" rows and/or columns. A bit awkward, yes, but don't expect any fix for it.
I have trust me I even called my ISP they tell me there is nothing wrong I complained to Netflix and tell me it is my ISP I tell my ISP they say it is Netflix and keep on going around in circles
SO ONE IS BEING A DICK AND NEED S TO ADMIT WHO IS AT FAULT!
If your tools of the trade are that critical you'll be paying Apple for immediate hotfix support with a short SLA then. Otherwise, belt up.
My Mac Mini updated fine but my Macbook Air is just Hung with Installing Software Update at the same location. About 90% complete. Not sure what to do. If I power off/on I might loose my OS.
Any suggestions?
Umm... forgive me if I just don't see it but the headline in this article explicitly spells out that the SSL vulnerability fix was included in this patch, yet I see no mention of it in the release notes in the general release notes or the security release notes... Also other sites are already reporting that the fix is NOT included in this update... which is right?
