Apple said:
This update:

Fixes an issue that prevented some Macs from automatically connecting to known Wi-Fi networks
Fixes issue causing the background or Apple logo to appear incorrectly on startup
Improves the reliability of waking from sleep
Includes Safari 7.0.5

Well, I guess there's nothing left to fix, so we might as well tackle this logo business that's been ticking off so many users.

Well, to be honest Mavericks has been so trouble-free for me that I'm not surprised they're just fixing trivial stuff now.

Apple haven't left 10.7 out in the dust yet.

To clarify, does it fix the bug when you switch users the window size/locations all got messed up looking like you changed the screen resolution when you didn't?

This one annoys the hell out of me.

I just updated and tested this and it's not fixed. Unacceptable, Apple.

I even reported this one and they marked it as a duplicate so I know they know about it. I think I'm going to submit it again anyway.

Does it fix the issue where wifi sync from an ios device actually wakes mac and allows for wifi sync to happen?

I don't see bars on the WiFi icon anymore, as if there is no WiFi connection. Anyone else has this issue with 10.9.4?

That must have been the "fix". Instead of the bars appearing, but your wifi isn't working, the bars are gone, and your wifi still doesn't work. Nice fix, Apple.

Saw my first 'Optimizing Your Mac, this may effect performance for a few minutes' notification after my machine booted up on 10.9.4... Is this new, any one else see it?

Trying to install the combo updater right now. First it warned me that the system would have to be retarded, so I clicked restart, and now it's just stuck at the grey startup screen. Guess I'll wait some more...

edit: Turned system off, and then back on, and now it's installing everything.

It happens after most upgrades. It used to just be the little dot in the spotlight window but now the message is there so people don't get frustrated that the new upgrade "slowed my computer down."

Does anybody know if they fixed DisplayPort support for daisy chained monitors? Threads on the Apple Discussions state that if you boot camp to Windows on your Mac, DisplayPort daisy chaining works fine, boot to OSX and it fails.

Does this fix the bluetooth issue with a 2013 rMBP?

I have my MM disconnect and then system preferences crashes until I restart it.

Just updated. Will see how it goes... Hope it fixes what the wifi issue strangely enough that's been there since I got my rMBP in fall: reconnecting to aknown network often manually as it would simply take too long to connect on its own.

I was wondering what was going on with the wake from sleep - my iMac will start to wake up, but show a black screen for a second, and then totally wake up.

One fix I've noticed: my cursor is now active when I switch users. Previously when logging out of one user and logging into another, the cursor would vanish and the only fix was a restart.

EDIT: I tried logging out and back in one more time. The problem came back. :-/

I've seriously been annoyed by the time between wake-up and wifi connection. I'm very eager to see how this improves / resolves that problem.
