3) It concerns me that we're calling it "dual monitor" capability. It should be "all monitor" capability. There are many people with 3+ monitors and I'm aware of at least one guy on these forums with 10 monitors.

Apple calls it "multiple displays."

How many developer previews went out last time before the final was released?

I'm itching to upgrade from 10.6 since lots of new software requires 10.7+ lately!

If that's true then 10.8.4 should be stable enough for you for now.

Any more OpenGL 4.2 or 4.3 support? Last i saw 4.1 was fully supported, and a few token 4.2 features.

Not really. What is new besides support for the new photo stream?

- Places now uses Apple Maps over Google.
- Create is now listed under the Share button.
- Share button has Print option
- Photo Stream is now referred to as iCloud
- No Sharing Preference Tab.
- Burn option under Share menu is gone

Didn't say it was anything good :)

Very well. I really hope we see a redesigned iPhoto to flat modern style in this DP. I haven't upgraded yet. New UI perhaps :)?

I keep hoping Apple will love me and make notification center glow when there are unread notifications.

I so wish the tabbed browsing in both Finder and Safari resembled Chrome when trying to close a bunch of tabs. It's so much more convenient to have the tabs sit still before resizing for a second.

Will this have better early-on hardware compatibility, such as with printers? I only upgraded to 10.8 four months ago due to how long it took Xerox to get all their drivers out. I know Xerox is responsible for their drivers, but their tech reps said 10.8 security features made the drivers unusually challenging to update.

I remember in the betas for Mountain Lion it had a circle that would turn blue when you had a notification. I wish it was still like that. Sometimes I forget I have a notification because of how it is now.

Actually, this is the case with safari, but not with Finder in Mavericks.

I don't know about Finder (don't really use Tabs in Finder), but in Safari it now works the way you want. Which is awesome.

I could be wrong but system information now shows SATA/SATA EXPRESS in the place of just SATA.

That's in DP5 which I'm annoyingly stuck on as for some reason trying to download DP6 from the AppStore actually hard freezes my machine!!!
