Really? Works pretty well for me.

Really? Sometimes I see it on my mac but not my iPhone and sometimes I see it on my iPhone but not my mac. When I do see it on my mac it opens the imessage app but not the actually draft of the message or if I click on the mail it just gets stuck saying "loading"

For what it is worth, I've been running the 10.10.1 beta for a couple of weeks and it really seemed to stabilize everything. Wi-fi has been solid for me in comparison to 10.10.0. Mail seems much improved as well.

Overall, I'd say it is a great update.

My only problem with Mail is that it doesn't seem to fetch new mail quite as often as I'd like. My iPhone and iPad will receive an email and then, between 5 and 10 minutes later, my MacBook will receive it. I just think Mail for OS X should be constantly 'looking', like on iOS.

I'd also like Mail on my iPad to respond to what I do in Mail on my iPhone sooner, too. For example, say I have 4 unread emails on my iPhone, I read them all and sort them/trash them. They'll still show as unread on my iPad lock screen and in the Mail app until the iPad either decides to search for new mail, or I manually update my mailbox. Other iOS devices should respond almost instantly to your actions on other devices and should dismiss lock screen notifications/unread items when they're dealt with on other devices.

Doesn't fix the weird bug with numbers being appended to my computer's name: "MacBook Pro (11)" currently.

I can confirm this UI bug isn't fixed :(

Does StarCraft 2 work with 10.10.1 now? I heard issues about people getting black screens or no sound after updating to Yosemite on StarCraft 2, so I've been holding off until I stop hearing about those issues.

Seems to be stuck on the Restarting screen. Been like that for the last 10 minutes. Must. Resist. Urge. To. Force. Reboot. Must.

Painless DL in under a minute.

Installation flawless to.

Can't tell what it fixes. Only issue I had so far was that it seems to freeze if I have too many apps open and many tasks happening at the same time.

Say, DL movies while running Handbrake, plus browsing streaming sports sites,
scanning and, and, and.......................all with only 6GB memory.

Disappointed to hear that. That was one of the fixes I was hoping would be included. It's not critical to any functioning (that I have found yet) but is an obvious glitch I would like to see fixed.

Lets see how long it takes to download since my wifi is cutting out every minute LOL :mad

hope it works, I have a 2009 mbp and have to reconnect wifi 3 times before it sticks when waking from sleep

Have you tried changing the setting in Mail > Preferences... > General > Check for new messages:? I have mine set to "Every minute". It seems to retrieve mail faster than my iOS devices, but that may be related to the mail services I'm using as well.

Haha, I updated, took a few minutes, and it returned me to Safari with the MacRumors tab open and all, along with all other windows. Even preserved the Terminal window along with output and even command history. This is pretty cool! I had to open the "About this Mac" window to ensure I was actually on 10.10.1...

Can someone please post some updates on general UI lag/choppiness issues? Specifically with retina macbook pros now with transparency turned on?

I have a 2013 rMBP and never experienced much lag with the transparencies. I only have the 8GB model as well.

After the update, everything still seems smooth a silk. Hope you find the same.

I'll wait for user feedback on here before partitioning my 17" 2011 MBP with Snow Leopard to do a clean install of Yosemite, may wait for .2 or .3 depending on what I hear.
Pretty much everything I need to do now, I can do with snow leopard and it works great, I just want to have yosemite to play around with every now and then. :)
