It's weird that when I first updated to Yosemite the wifi disconnects came a little more frequently. Often enough that I usually couldn't get through a large Time Machine backup without it being interrupted. After a while if became less frequent and eventually stopped happening. Not sure if it was fixed in one of the minor updates or just stopped on its own.

Same issue here. I've tried to manually rename under "Sharing" - it only worked for a while, then (x) appeared again.

Any fix? Downloading 10.10.1 as of right now.

This happened to me. I did the same thing. Went into Sharing and deleted the appended number. Happened a couple of times then stopped happening. Not sure what caused it but it didn't seem to be much of an inconvenience. Aside from seeing the number appended to the machine name in Finder it never seemed to affect the functionality of it. Just a cosmetic issue.

I'm not sure if it is a combo of OS X (10.10.1) update or the iOS 8.1.1 update but SMS Relay on the desktop within iMessage seems to be fixed now. It used to break my texts to 67 character chunks when sending texts from the desktop to non-iPhone users. My iPad and obviously iPhone were fine.

So far this seems to be fixed. Yay!

Notifications and Markup

Does it fix the issues with Notification Center (widgets not appearing) and Markup not appearing in email?

Anyone having issues with the notification center shortcut (via hot corners) not working?

It was working fine in the beta.

Yup, same here, had the same issues but they got less and eventually disappeared completely, don't know if it was the bets builds or just got fixed by the OS itself ???

Number on AppleTVs are still very annoying. After Updating and re-starting all my devices, this issue is still present.

One thing I hate about Yosemite is that they removed Software update from the Menu bar.

Now, it always brings you right into (spammy) App store which I DON'T want!

I like how you called it spammy. :)

I agree, I'm on Mavericks and every time I check for updates I get a Yosemite notice. I GET IT ALREADY!

I've seen this in the past when using certain special characters in SMS texts...like an en dash, for example. You think that could be part of the issue? Maybe OS X is auto-correcting three dots (...) into an ellipsis character or something?

Apple Remote Desktop is indeed properly gone from my Appstore updates list, and the App Store... menu item no longer has a permanent blue oval in it suggesting I update my current version of that software.
I see that iBooks has reappeared after I removed it in 10.0.0.

Server

I don't suppose this includes any updates for Yosemite server services? (like slow dhcp response, etc...)

First World Problem

Very Mature Answer!

Every time you get a (2) in the name, the Apple TV disconnects itself from AirPlay list. It happens every second. So, it not working as Apple advertize. Practically impossible to use it.

Now I undertand when people says that in sites like this there are trolls just waiting to mock every people. When people has nothing good to say, they better keep their mouth shut. Ugh!

Updated...

... and now mail's not working - again :roll eyes:

Until now I only ( :D ) couldn't send to recipients with a gmail account. Now I can't receive any mail at all...

Same happened after the upgrade to Yosemite

I do use a lot of '...' for trailing thoughts but I've tested it without any special characters. Just normal text and punctuation with periods and commas. It is possible there was something with that but from what I've seen it wasn't always the case.

10.10.01 - Does NOT Fix WiFi or Network Issue - AT ALL

This is truly incredible. The issues of WIFI and Network have not been fixed at all.

1) Console filling up with the same errors.
2) Network Connection STILL drops MORE than it did before
3) Right After update - I had NO internet connection at all...

Had to run the exact SAME routine Fixes I had been running since the early developer previews....
