What's changed about the settings icon? It looks exactly like it did in preview 1 to me.

System Preferences

Macrumors is saying the settings icon changed. That was in DP1 was it not?

I'm not too sure, I can't remember exactly what I did, but it now I have an new icon on my status bar, although none of the options work. Seems to have something to do with iMessage.

Yes, that's the Messages menu. It has features carried over from the former iChat application, such as displaying the current iTunes song.

- Time Machine: Time Machine has a redesigned interface that removes the stars.

My God, its (not) full of stars! :(

address bar in safari is shifted to the left now
------
scrolling between pages on launchpad seems smoother now.

Scrolling is like butter now... but my address bar is in the same position, i.e., right in the center...

It can be dragged and repositioned like the icons.

i can't seem to center it like in DP 1. its either on the left or the right.

Can anyone confirm it is more responsive and faster on rMBP 15" late 2012/early 2013?

Thanks

I have a Late 2013 Retina 15inch. I will let you know how it is, I am downloading the beta 2 update as we speak.

Any1 using Wacom Intuos 5 or similar here? Any sort of problems in DP2? It worked fine in DP1 for me :)

Seconded! I want to upgrade, but can't have it break Final Cut Pro

Good news, FCPX 10.1.1 works without needing to launch the executable, nothing broken aside from Motion 5.1 not launching at all.

Also noticed Safari and iTunes aren't forgetting my login's; no longer have to constantly enter my information. Alas, no dark theme.

Has anyone been able to install Yosemite in a clean install? I installed over Mavericks and would prefer a clean one.

However, everytime I CMD+R start up, and then go to the install screen, I get a "authorizing this installation with apple" and then get told it failed and to contact Applecare.

I'm a developer and redeemed with a code from the app store.
