I too swim in the pool of our tears fellow ultra brothers and sisters. I cannot believe they came out with all these new bands and nothing for the ultra. I suppose the 3 billionaires who can afford a Hermes band will be happy though.

I have been hoping they’d come out with a black Alpine loop band, I don’t trust those cheap knock offs on Amazon. A red and orange ocean band would have been nice too.

🥶
The 45mm bands also work with the Ultra.

Obviously the Hermès bands and Watch sell well enough because Apple is still selling them after 7.5 years.

I moved my Milanese silver stainless steel band from my Watch v7 to the Ultra. It is infinitely adjustable due to the magnetic catch system and goes well with the Titanium case of the Ultra. I am not interested in any other bands for the Ultra.
Careful, they warn you that the magnets in those bands can affect some aspects of the Watch like the compass. I know most won’t use their compass, but I do and many may. You don’t want to open it up one day when you need it and have it send You the wrong way.

Apple, where is the love for the Ultra? Give us some new color options and band choices please.

I know the standard bands fit but the width of the ultra bands is wider and looks better on the watch.
A nice big chunky leather strap in different colours would be a good start. Their leather straps have always been a bit "weedy" when worn with the larger watches.

Really? I’ve heard bad stuff about the stuff from Amazon, do you have any pics of it? How is it holding up? You trust it not to detach from the watch and send the watch to the floor? Do you have a link to who exactly you got it from there?

Tia

If you go on Aliexpress look for seller URVOI... they are the ones who are famous for making the knock-off link band which is very similar to Apple's. They make really quality stuff, have tons of reviews with pictures on all of their products... I always get my bands from them and have never had any issues... Most of their bands I can't even tell them apart from the Apple versions, and the quality is long lasting.

It’s Hermès. You can’t buy anything cheaper at an Hermès store.
Hermès wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't good for business. It's like a gateway drug to bring in new customers. But seriously, it is high quality and handmade and a bargain compared to most of what they sell. And still exclusive enough to avoid degrading the brand and ending up on the shelves at TJ Maxx. I think it is a cool branding partnership.

Until it snaps off your wrist and your watch crashes to the floor and shatters.
has never happened and I've been using Apple watch since series 0... I've bought countless number of knock-off bands over the years. If you stick to the ones with many positive reviews and feedback you'll be fine. Unless you're one of those people that lives life in fear of everything and play it safe. Then in that case stick to paying Apple their absurd markups.

Last weekend I bought a new Series 8 with a beige braided solo loop. As of today beige is gone and I'm not crazy about the new colors. Happy I didn't procrastinate any longer but kind of crazy how colors can disappear mid-year without warning.

I needs a maroon color band for my new maroon colored Trek™ Bicycle!
whadda say, ?
is this this maroon? if not pm me a snap of the maroon and I will see what i have for bands
