Love reading the threads on new betas. But I'm sitting this beta period out. I'm just going to sit over here and eat popcorn. And let you all go thru the beta agony of iOS 11.. I'll just go thru the release agony with the rest of the world in September. Wondering how these bugs haven't been fixed yet.. followed by getting mad at you all for not reporting the bugs lol

From iOS 11 B1 -> Beta 1?
I was able to downgrade from B2 to 10, to B1.. B2 to B1, to 10. Had zero issues on the 7 series. Now any device other than those.. wasn't able to move between betas.. but I've seen that before over the years.

Probably because the original beta 2 was so terrible, lol. I've never seen an updated beta actually make things WORSE like beta 2 did vs beta 1.
Really? The consensus on here is that Beta 2 is a huge improvement over beta 1.

Just checked the downloads on the dev portal and this is true :( Also not available for iPad Pro 10.5 :(
Why sad? Your devices don't need a new build.

These betas are a massive cluster. No one other than developers should be playing around with these right now. I've reported over a 100 bugs, 2 of which are major.. one that can cause data spikes when on 4G/LTE. So for those who are on limited data, make sure you watch closely.. the other can trigger a crash and restart that can be replicated over and over in an endless circle. That's a nasty one.

Joe,

Can MR please simplify its nomenclature by using, i.e. DB2 and PB1 in place of all the long text currently in use?

Aren't the following examples easier to read:
- macOS 10.12.0.DB2
- iOS 10.3.3.PB3
than the heretofore long text?

It's a massive improvement. Beta 1 was buggy as hell.
Complete opposite for me. Beta 1 was really solid for my Air 2. Beta 2 has led to App Store issues, accessory not supported issues (for Apple OEM chargers/cables) springboard crashing and more. None of these issues were present on Beta 1 for me.

Doesn't appear the update is available for the 10.5" iPad Pro with cellular, so cross that one off the list.

iPad mini 2 here.

Beta 1: quite slow, various glitches here and there. Safari View Controller frequently got stuck. Video playback in Safari frequently didn't start or played, but hung Safari to the point where you couldn't get back to browsing. Occasional boot loops.

Beta 2: much faster, far fewer glitches. But: same accessory not supported issue where it only reliably charges while off or connected to a computer.

What's wrong? I've done 30 downgrade tests on the 7 series. Not 1 failed.
Verizon iPhone 7: could not downgrade from 11.0 Beta 2 to 10.3.2 without going through Beta 1. Tried at least 7 times before finding solution on this forum.
