Complete opposite for me. Beta 1 was really solid for my Air 2. Beta 2 has led to App Store issues, accessory not supported issues (for Apple OEM chargers/cables) springboard crashing and more. None of these issues were present on Beta 1 for me.

Same for me.
On an iPhone 7+ here, animations are laggy, iTunes performance is bad, AirPods bug, when forwarding a song it takes up to 7 seconds before the next song starts, battery performance sucks, Apple maps seems to have received an update, but sent me to the middle of nowhere, iOS restarts....

This fixes the downgrading to previous IOS.. that issue was noted for devices 6s and older that can install IOS 11. The 7 series did not have this issue, that is why there this update cannot be installed for those devices.

Well that would be incorrect as there are numerous people on the forums using an iPhone 7/7+ (including myself) in which you could not revert back to 10.3.2...

iPad mini 2 here.

Beta 1: quite slow, various glitches here and there. Safari View Controller frequently got stuck. Video playback in Safari frequently didn't start or played, but hung Safari to the point where you couldn't get back to browsing. Occasional boot loops.

Beta 2: much faster, far fewer glitches. But: same accessory not supported issue where it only reliably charges while off or connected to a computer.

So, when you connect your iPad to a wall charger, it displays a error message saying that the accessory would not be supported?

Yup.

Unlike the op though, i was seeing that b1 also. My mini 2 also has a habit of completely depleting the battery while sitting idle. I'm currently seeing 2 hours of use from b2, and about 4 hours of standby. B1 was NOT doing that.

Haven't been brave enough to install this one in my production iPad 12.

Yeah latest beta didn't solve that accessory not supported issue. It's a weird one for sure. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Personalization failed when updating iPhone 6s on Configurator.

They decided to put AppleConnect permissions on some of these files for some reason. The signing server is blocking the update unless you have proper credentials. Don’t ask where you enter them or get them, that can’t be said on here.

Yes. Almost invariably, and with multiple cables.

Since Friday, I'm having the exact same issue on my iPad Air running beta 2. I was afraid that the Lightning port would be broken, so I'm now glad to hear that others are also experiencing this issue and that this is just a beta issue.

For me, it still charges normally when powered on though. There's just no charging indicator when connected to the wall charger.

It isn't incorrect, I was able to successfully do it several times with zero issues and reported it as such during my bug testing.

It's likely this is the sole reason for the re-release. Can't be seeding public testers with software that they can't back out of.

Can you imagine the forum threads!

So I wonder if we will get the update with the same configuration profile. I almost bricked my phone trying to downgrade. Is there an Ipsw for beta 2.1 for the 7 plus yet??

Doesn’t fix that issue. I am on a iPhone 7 Plus and cannot downgrade at all. When I try my phone gets stuck in restore mode.

Probably because the original beta 2 was so terrible, lol. I've never seen an updated beta actually make things WORSE like beta 2 did vs beta 1.
Absolutely agree with you on that one! Unfortunately when I downgraded I ran into so many issues, I had to go back to iOS 11. It’s still buggy but not as bad.
