Nice, still subtle, but useful.

I prefer Firefox's method, where a green block with the company name inside of it shows up next to the URL so you definitely see it. Safari's is kinda out of the way, which is not good.

That's good news. While I think that I'd be pretty good at detecting whether a website is a fake, can never be too safe. Kinda wished this included the latest version of Webkit to get the speed improvements. Or does it?

Hi,

I wish Green wasn't used. I'm colour blind and can't see green (or red, or purple).

Sites that are blocked look like so:

Ouch.

Shows how much the Aqua button style doesn't fit with Apple's current design direction. The title panel is fairly nice.

I take it you can't do anything else with safari until you choose.
Looks like the message is in the webpage area.

So you can open a new window, or a new tab.
Or go to another currently open window or tab.

work with proxy?

So does the Windows version work with Proxy's better? And no, it doesn't always work using Internet Explorer's settings.

Anyone else having issues with the SafariStand and PithHelmet plugins and Safari 3.2? It no worky for and keeps crashing Safari.:(

does this update do anything other than the phishing and such?
I have been using the nightly builds of Webkit for a few months now and have squirrelfish extreme has literally made browsing snapier. I will really only consider switching back to normal Safari when it gets the new build of Webkit built in, which it doesn't sound like.
So, seeing as I am actually careful and check things when I am doing vital stuff online, me thinks I am not as excited about this as the rest of you are.

Anti-phishing was the last thing missing...

I suppose for the general dumb population, but I tend to trust my own judgement regarding websites. But I know malicious sites are getting smarter and maybe one day it will be nearly impossible to tell the difference, so on that note, this is a good thing.

Disappointed to see that Safari still waits until a webpage is fully reloaded on a refresh before going down to the specific part you were before going down to that point.

I hate that. I end up waiting ages for the last little bit of detail to be loaded - I can scroll down manually to where I was before the refresh while the page is still loading. Why it does that still is bloody annoying.

A word on the "Green SSL" text: This will only show up if the site is using a Extended Validation certificate. Not just any website with SSL will show this green text.

It's not convenient when I'd prefer to use a local search engine. Regardless, it used to be an option but in 2.0 became mandatory. So much for choice.
