yeah but there has to be some standard, right? specially with a huge company like apple. something ridiculous like the calculator bug, the "i" autocorrect bug in 11.1, the constant battery drainage that randomly pops up for people, i'm not sure if these are acceptable.
Seems like the autocorrect issue isn't there just in 11.1 and showed up almost suddenly without an iOS update--almost more along the lines of some strange server-side issue or something else odd like that. All those things are certainly bugs and it would be good if they weren't there to begin with or addressed sooner than later. But the reality is that they always pop up, and did back in the days when people now think things were essentially practically perfect (if not actually perfect) despite that not being the case.

Unfortunately, software projects just don't scale well. Apple can't just throw a thousand employees at iOS and expect development to be faster or of higher quality.

The first two are indeed rather embarrassing. The battery drainage is much harder to track down.

I have multiple iOS devices on iOS 11, and none encountered noticeably higher battery drain than on iOS 10. I also haven't run into the autocorrect issue.

That god damn bluetooth and wifi control center bug! Is it fixed in this beta?

Will Apple turn that “smart invert colors” to a real dark mode? Because for now, i don’t see the point of that smart invert, it is something strange!!

Those using it, have they fixed the Siri app search where if it's not selected as a "search inside this app" it won't show up in the suggested list unless you type the complete exact name? This drives me INSANE

My favorite bug is where now playing completely disappears. It’s gotta be related to AirPlay 2, which looks so cool, whenever we have a second device to play things on.

I've had this since iOS 10, usually with Audible more than with Music but it just like trails off outa no where.

Seems to me 11.2 introduces a new "Show App" option which only shows up if you have "Search & Siri Suggestions" disabled for that app. The problem is that it apparently can't be set for multiple apps as a batch?

No no. Although that’s an issue. I mean Music (or podcasts) are still playing, but the now playing box, with the controls and your up next, etc..

THAT vanishes. Disappears into the void.

Someone have tested the keyboard in a 6 Plus? It's still horribly laggy for me on the first 11.2 beta (and since the launch of iOS 11). It's, by far, the most annoying thing, because keyboard is something you use practically every time and everywhere.

(Something I've also noted is that this lag on the keyboard doesn't occur in the spotlight screen).

Ah yes I know what you're talking about now. I feel i've had this too across the board and again since iOS10 on my 6.

I logged numerous bug reports throughout the 11 beta phase of the control centre controls not tying in with reality - for example while actually listening to a podcast the control centre music controls would show quite often show that the current playback app was Music and that nothing was playing or vice versa. Haven't seen this quite so frequently in 11.1 / 11.2 but it definitely still happens now and again.

Agreed. Saw it with all my 11.0 devices, particularily the wrong app playing or reporting that it wasn't playing when it was.

Yup. I've been seeing this in 11.0 betas and continue to.

This may be a coincidence, but the Now Playing widget new to macOS 10.13's Notification Center appears to have the same bug.

Does anyone have an issue with disappearing clock on the lock screen after a while ? It happened on my iPhone 7 throughout all versions from 11.0 up to 11.1. Just bought iPhone X, set it as new, updated to 11.1 and got the same crap! My girlfriend is running 11.0.3 on her iPhone SE and she has it too. I’ve also noticed that whenever this thing happens, my Notification center gets blank until I restart the god damn phone.

Landscape keyboard on iPhone is still nothing more than a rotated portrait keyboard. I really miss the landscape keyboard from iOS 10. It's about the only thing in iOS 11 that really bugs me, and I'm not sure why the change happened. I've submitted it as a bug report, but I'm not sure if it is even classified as a bug.

But it's not quite just that. The number and emoji keys switch positions when you rotate. I can't figure that out at all. It screws me up almost every time I try to use the rotated keyboard.

soooooo when is apple pay coming out in messages?????
11.2.4? 11.4.3? December? May? Who knows, Apple said in a future version of iOS 11.

Apparently some think—for some unknown reason—that every day when they wake up: today is the day Apple releases Apple Pay Cash... my life is now complete!!
