I found the fix for CarPlay. Go into Accessibility and turn off Reduce Transparency.

Has anyone noticed that the scribble to erase feature in Notes on iPadOS 26 public beta 2 has weird behavior? It launches the icon to make space between words much of the time instead of just erasing what I selected.

I’m using an M4 11” iPad Pro.

Same here. Also seeing same issue on 3rd party apps (LivePhish, Sirius, PlexAmp, etc.). Pretty bad bug. Hopefully next update brings a fix. Would be an awful bug for full release.

Same here, carplay errors: Phone app: call list, favouties empty, in search only one A is shown, no entries, Carplay Settings is empty, Waze starts, but search is empty screen, I have to disconnect the phone start navigaion, then reconnect to use navigation in car.
Apple music empty, completely unusable.

I never update anyway, but now I’m really sticking with iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 forever on my iPhone 16 Plus and 11th-gen iPad…

No, I wasn't in line. Just checking the app in bed late at night. May not use it at stores until it's fixed. I just wonder why it's my phone and not a widely reported issue.

I'm gonna try to get back in and maybe remove some cards to see if that helps.

Thank you!!!! I just installed PB2 and was going to go back to 18.6 because of this. Hopefully it gets fixed in the next beta. (iPhone 14 Plus)

I’d like to express gratitude to everyone who has shared their experience of the new beta. While I see a lot of people mention the device they are using, others don’t which makes comparing experiences difficult.

While it does bring back all screens in CarPlay (ya!), it affects transparency on iPhone 16 Pro (weird). Beta’s gonna beta.

Tried a full reset of CarPlay in the phone and in my car and it did not help. The only app that works is Maps. All the others are blank screens. But if you touch the screens they actually work, you just can't see the interface. I am able to go forward and back in my music list if I touch where the buttons should be.

this is really a show stopper if it goes to release like this! (aside from the workaround above)

Sounds like it’s an issue when a particular setting is enabled certainly not ideal but as long as people report it - it should be fixed.
