Task Switcher is much improved. Very smooth and easier to kill apps.
That happened to me too. I think somehow the beta tester profile got removed when I went to the 9.1 final release. I reinstalled the beta profile and it came up.I'm part of the public beta testing program. But I can't see the new beta when i go to settings > general > software update
I'm seriously digging the new app switcher on the iPhone. Seriously.
Task Switcher is much improved. Very smooth and easier to kill apps.
That's only with Reduce Motion on.What I noticed is, each app in the task switcher "locks"into place and thus is easier to kill. Before, the apps would fly by and not pause on the screen, making it more difficult to kill them.
you have att?Works fine for me (iPad mini 4) running IOS 9.1. After installing the Beta on my iPhone and adding the iPad as device it can receive and make calls even with the iPhone turned off. I like it!
I'm thinking late December, maybe January.
I don't think my 5s will ever be smooth again
Yeah, CC is still really laggy when pulling it out slowly. And the tester could not even tap cancel to quit spotlight search.
Spotlight, CC stutters vs 8.x smoothness (jump to 2:54)
I miss the days when iOS didnt lag on 2 month old iphones lol.
my 1 year old phone 6 is sluggish on iOS 9.... this sucks
What's different with the new app switcher? I'm using it now...experience feels more fluid. Is that what you mean?
Yes, AT&T and my iPad is still on IOS 9.1 maybe that is the difference....you have att?
Not sure if it's just me or not. I just got the iPhone 6s Plus and installed the beta 2.
From what I've seen online in reviews and forums, is that the TouchID was EXTREMELY fast.
And not in a good way - it was simply so fast that people couldn't see their lockscreen.
But with iOS 9.2 beta 2, I don't think that's a problem. I haven't tried anything else, but I have no problem pressing the home button, without unlocking my phone immediately.
Could it be that Apple added a "delay" to the TouchID to fix this "problem"?
cool. Id like that att feature, but dont want to lose the jb.Yes, AT&T and my iPad is still on IOS 9.1 maybe that is the difference....
I usually just poke the home button with the tip of my thumbnail to see the screen. Works great. The power button is a better solution. I'd forgotten about it.If you want to see your screen then use a different finger or the power button. There's a reason why you have to set up a finger in touch ID to use it.....
I wonder if AT&T's NumberSync will eventually be supported by OS X. It would be great to have NumberSync on a Macintosh laptop or even on an iMac. Turning every computer into a functioning phone that can work even when the iPhone whose number is being shared is away or turned off would be great!
