I'm not talking about "Allow Calls on Other Devices", which we have since iOS 8/OS X 10.10 Yosemite. I'm talking about the *new* feature that allows your other devices to have access to the Wi-Fi Calling on iOS 9 on your iPhone—even if the iPhone is far away or powered off. This article explains the difference.

"AT&T’s NumberSync feature is very similar to the Continuity functionality that Apple currently offers. Mac, iPad, and iPod touch owners are currently able to make and receive telephone calls via Apple’s Continuity feature as long as said device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the iPhone that holds the number. The NumberSync offering essentially serves up the same level of functionality, but doesn’t require the device in question to be connected to the same wireless network as the iPhone. Basically, WiFi calling via your AT&T account."

That is coming to AT&T on iOS 9.2 (already available on Sprint and T-Mobile on the current iOS) and I was wondering if a future version of El Capitan might support it too.

Anyone notice issues with Mail? Since a week and a half ago I was still on iOS 9.1 my email mainly junk would keep returning as new mail even after I marked it as read. Even with iOS 9.2 Public Beta I have to go in and read them
then go out and sometimes that doesn't even fix it. Any one else?

I noticed that iOS 9.2 beta 2 heats my phone constantly. Battery drain is enormous. As soon as I unlock it and open any app it heats to a point where I have to force quit all apps and put it back to standby. It happens both to my iPhone 6 as well as my iPhone 6s. (I am running the public beta, not the developer versions)
Furthermore Music App wasn't working (it would open only to close immediately afterwards) but, using Siri to play a song, I managed to "repair" it and now it works. But seriously: when I charge it (even if it is in standby), when I unlock it to do anything it just heats.

I tried resetting settings and network settings to no avail. No version of iOS showed this behavior (I already sent two feedback to Apple about the issue). But I was wondering if anybody else had the same behavior.

The iPhone 6s is brand new. Was updated to the beta (directly the 9.2 beta 2). Then I restored from the backup on iTunes (so that the iPhone6 and 6s are "clones"). I thought it was an issue of the 6. Well... The 6s does the same thing.

In the meantime the phones are no longer "clones" of each other, I gave separate names and reinstalled the beta profile on the 6s because the "feedback" app wouldn't show.

This heating (it doesn't get just warm, it gets hot) is particularly a problem when using the following:
- Twitter
- Music App
- Safari

But it happens with all other apps. I tried also to eliminate location services. Nothing changed.

BTW: when the phone is locked in standby (disconnected from the charging cable) temperature drops quite fast to a normal level.

It says "includes bug fixes for... audio quality when streaming to stereo systems". If you follow the first link in the article, it says "An issue impacting audio quality when playing audio over USB in some car stereos has been fixed."

We have a set of bluetooth stereo monitors in our living room that if you were beaming audio to the monitors sometimes depending on proximity to the monitors a distinct drop in pitch (sounding like a record slowing down) was detectable when playing audio through them.

I just thought it was the monitors, I'll have to try this with the new beta to see if it corrects the issue.
