Will there be a Watch OS3 public beta does anyone know? I have had very few issues with the public beta on my iPhone, but have found my iPad to be rather buggy.
No, since you can't manually downgrade WatchOS in case anything goes wrong like you can any iOS device. A bad install on the Apple Watch essentially bricks it, and not even the Genius Bar can fix it. It has to be sent back to Apple, which isn't cheap.

Then it just isn't available yet in your area. Hand tight. If you have first beta installed, then that means you have the beta profile installed and will be able to get subsequent updates as they are released.
Ok thanks, yes I have he profile installed so I just figured it would be ready for me to download now, but I guess I will have to wait :(

I updated to beta 3 on Monday 7/18/16 and I have gotten this notification EVERY time I plug any of my 4 Lightning chargers to it. I have never gotten this notice before and I can assure you that my phone does not have any water in or near the connector. Has anyone else had this issue? I have restarted my phone and done soft resets and it still shows up and I have to dismiss it twice before it allows me into my phone.
I just want to know if this is just my phone or if this is a known-issue with iOS 10 beta 3

Skipping this one until Dev 4 is out. I'm sure the OS itself is fine, but these betas always play so poorly with my essential apps that it's not worth taking the risk. I'd love to see transcribed voicemail, but nothing else is interesting enough for me to rush in.

What's the build of Public Beta 2?

I temporarily switched to Dev Beta 3 from Public Beta 1 using the profile floating around the net just incase public beta 2 wasn't released by the time I went on holiday.

I have since reinstalled the Public profile and it's not showing any updates and usually public beta is 1 or so version higher than the Dev beta.

Build I have is 14A5309d

I’d love to have that too but since there is no way to downgrade to the old watchOS it might be why they are limiting it to the smaller developer beta group.

Are they official Apple Lightning connectors, trusted 3rd party like Belkin etc, or cheap gas station cords? It's possible this is Apple's latest round of cheap accessory whack-a-mole.

To the developers running the equivalent beta, is battery life negatively impacted in this update?
Yes

It was caused by excessive salivating over this release. Go for a walk. It'll clear up.

I suppose its a little more enjoyable with 3D Touch, but you aren't missing anything.

I can't understand for the life of me why anyone would want to stay with iOS 9's blow-past-the-lockscreen. I really wish Apple did not include this toggle. They got it right with iOS 10. They should have waited until like 10.3 before adding that toggle...force people to get used to the better way, and if they still don't like it by then, give them the option.
Raise to wake. See your notifications. Rest finger to unlock. I did not like pressing the button twice.
I understand different people have different preferences. That's a no-brainer.

Same build as yours. Just checked.

2 of my 4 iPhone chargers are the ones that came with the iPhone, but they all say the exact same thing when I plug it in. I get the feature, but I feel like this is a bug.

HTTP proxy bug is still not fixed.

Symptom: once HTTP proxy is set, massive number of requests are sent to the proxy server and will ultimately paralyze the server. This is observed when using GlimmerBlocker as the proxy server: on the server side using Activity Monitor you can see 1k+ threads being sprung up.

Seeing as this issue has been on-going since Monday, I am now looking for a fix since it's obviously not just "moisture in connector" anymore. I have put my phone in rice and even lightly ran a blow dryer over it just in case there was any moisture at all inside. Also I never bring my phone into the bathroom when taking a shower and never dropped it in water. I am just shocked that this only popped up a few minutes after I updated to beta 3 for developers.

Yes as expected for a beta - but with the addition of having all photo processing done local. This processing is supposed to happen when connected to power source and on WIFI - but this is making my iPAD Prod warm without doing anything - I would take a peek at photos and every few minutes more pictures are drop to the folders.

My main video app around the house (optimum TV app) is acting weird and sometimes I can't change channels - other than that I am very satisfied with this release.

Not digging the lock screen UI/UX, nor Widgetpalooza. I either want it back to just rest a finger on the button, or a Setting to let me keep using it the way it's been working up to this point.

I just think people should take more time to see what their preference even is. It's only worked one way for 3 years. Give it more than a day to see if the new default really is the right way after all.

I’ve wondered about that too. If I did a ‘details’ on any particular new picture at first it would show no faces, but they would suddenly show up even though I am not connected to power, or locked. I thought it might be queuing up massive facial recognition runs on my 52K of pictures for every photo I even looked at.

Why are you shocked? It was only introduced in this release and it's a beta.
