Any word yet on battery life with this new update? It was so bad on Beta one that I rolled back to 11.1 after a day. I could actually watch the battery percentage tick down while the phone was sitting on my desk.

Not seeing it quite yet on my X.
As responses subsequent to yours pointed out, the beta that Apple released on the afternoon of Nov 3 (iPhone X release day) appears to have been 11.2 beta 2 (which is apparently the same beta being released now for other iPhones). I have not noticed the 'i' autocorrect bug on my iPhone X since setting it up Friday night.

As an aside, if you upgraded to 11.2 beta 2 so that you can "Restore from Backup" on your new iPhone X, note that performing such a restoration appears to remove the beta profile from your system preferences. I had to re-download the public beta profile from beta.apple.com after performing the restore from backup.

By a hard reset do you mean where you hold down the power and home buttons until it turns back on? If so I did that too.

Ran into the issue where my devices were claiming that the internet disappeared, hard reset on both iPhone and iPad Pro fixed the issue.

I see. So no Apple Pay Cash for us until Beta 3 it looks like.

Edit: Just kidding.... card just showed up in Wallet for me.

Why are you even able to "watch it tick down"? Is your screen always on? That would explain a lot.

Unless you're plugged in the download won't happen if you're under 50% battery.

Downloading isn't the problem. It's the verifying as previously stated.

I'm at 100% and plugged in. Apple updates always come out early morning here in Australia so my phone is always plugged in and charged for updates.

Odd ... I'm having the same verification problem. I've tried a hard reset. I've reset network settings. Agree with the above, it's gotta be a temporary server issue.

Same for me. Did not reset network settings because it's a pain but I did hard reset and still get the same silly message about no internet connection. Clearly an Apple server issue

I can't install either, I have tried all things from deleting to resetting. still won't let me.

How do you delete the download? I OTA’d it on my 8 and Air 2, can’t verify either. UK based.

resetting network settings had no effect for me and i don't find a software update to delete either.

Tried to install new update on my iPhone 6 this morning and got this!
