Deleted the update and the beta profile on my iPad, re-downloaded and same issue no connecting to the servers. Changing wifi connection point had zero effect, as did re-starting and turning on and off airplane mode. Clearly a bug in the update. Didn't have any issues with my iPhone on the developer beta. Will either switch it over to my developer account or wait to see if they pull the update to fix whatever issue is effecting it.

Um everyone is not having issues with their devices so resetting, deleting, rebooting, etc is pretty pointless I would imagine. Seems there are issues with the activation servers on Apples end and folks simply have to be patient and wait until its resolved. Most likely no need to remove the download either as if the activation servers are not working, a new download isn't going to help.

I wish MR wouldn't not front page each beta seed... for each device. It seems insignificant (next to the power of the force).

i've tried 2 hours and it didnt worked tried multiple wireless tried from a hotspot of a friend delete profile delete update none of them worked, and now is installing..so wait untill it will work, its an apple problem ( 8plus)

Just got off the phone with Apple Care... man it was like pulling teeth. There is no convincing them of the possibility that it may be a server issue on Apple's end.

5:18 CST: Re-tried after deleting update from storage and it passed verify and is now installing. Not sure if Apple fixed something or you have to keep trying until you get a good verification.

I’m having the Verify issue as well. I’ll try again tomorrow. Sounds like a good chunk of beta testers are running into it.

How do you delete a Software Update that you have already downloaded?
Go to Settings, General, iPhone/iPad Storage....you’ll find the update in the list of Apps. Click on it and you can delete there. By the way, it might not disappear from the list but you can then go back to Software Update and download afresh. I’ve tried twice already, but without success. Still reckon it’s server related.

Just left it and retried installing, worked fine.

Also to note, I tried restoring back to 11.1 in iTunes - had the same problem.
There was an issue with the apple update servers.

Same here – frustrating.
Don’t know what happened differently but my iPad updated on its own...finally....after I had selected Remind me later (I had removed the download three times before this). Here’s hoping it’s a solid beta!

This fixed it for me. I kept trying to delete the update and it wasn’t deleting so I did a hard restart (holding down the home button and side button) and after the restart I was able to delete the update, download it again and this time it verified and installed without any issues.

Thank you for the tip!!!!

I tried again… and now it’s updating! Finally.

Nothing. As stated it is an Apple server issue. No amount of deleting, rebooting, hard rebooting, standing on one foot facing north etc is going to fix it. :) The "fix" was/is waiting for Apple to resolve their activation issue. Nothing on the device is the problem.

I think the update is fixed now. As soon as I clicked install the screen went black and my iPhone restarted now at apple logo with the install progress bar. The verifying pop up never showed this time. update installed

It’s a problem on Apple’s end. I don’t think any workaround will work. You just have to wait.

They’re having problems with two-factor authentication too. Took about 5 minutes to get my code.

Deleted, and downloaded update x 3
Shut down device x 1
Reset device x 1
Reset network x 1

No dice

Will see tomorrow

Yup, same here, 7+, 5 feet from my Airport Extreme, all other web works, all web works on VZW LTE too, update does not. Must crash, work lurks, perhaps tomorrow. A good night to all.
