I don’t know what AirPods Pro’s you’re talking about. I wear mine on the subway daily and everything works as usual.

Be nice if some company or person were to offer a proxy. Offer to purchase and send one of these limited editions to other countries for a small uncharge. I'd happily pay someone from one of these locations to purchase and ship over to the US.

If an AirPods case emoji is the kind of thing that triggers you, just buy one with free engraving. You can even get them with a similar dragon. It's not like the LNY case is red with a gold dragon.

You missed the point. It’s not the availability of these earphones and their emoji. It’s about over pandering to the Asian market (mostly China). Tim and company seem to like to exploit the dark nature of Chinese consumerism as much as possible. They do nothing similar in other markets. Unless you count watchbands where they exploit the LGBT community. Either way Apple is more of an exploiter that twists it into support and tricks the NPCs into thinking they are some humanitarian organization out to save the world 1 iPhone at a time.

Apple was a better company in its heyday. Today it’s a juggernaut that has to keep growing at all costs to keep its overvaluation justifiable to the market. The still make quality hardware, but it’s software is lower quality that the Mac OS 9 days. The biggest things keeping them alive are idiot consumers trying to be cool and fit in, the blind AppleCult trying desperately to justify buying it by smacking down any criticism, foreign markets where ownership of Apple products holds status above others, youths that grew up on it, and the rest (but probably lesser percentage) non technical people wanting it to just work. The more they grow the more they lean into the darker of the above items.

But if folks want Apple to be iGod, feel free. It’s a free country…not like communist China….the country Apple panders to.
