I had one monitor that lasted for over 10 years, a champion. It was a 1920x1200 panel, and I sold it a couple years ago. it’s not part of my consciousness that a monitor manufacturer recommends a minimum OS version (of an OS that is less than a year old) to run. Especially since the video signal it’s using is standard DisplayPort (tunneled via thunderbolt). since the monitor works with windows and iPadOS, clearly it technically doesn’t need Monterey to run, but perhaps it needs Monterey to update the firmware.
