Yes! What we thinking, new Macs early November?

Seems to be quite a few new registrations, I was only expecting the one Silicon but perhaps one for each product range?

Can't be much later into November, especially with PlayStation and Xbox launch.

Apple will surely want to get into our wallets before then

Here's my guess:
  • Big Sur released by end of October
  • MacBook Apple Silicon Mac released November with macOS 11.1
The other Macs registered are most likely slated for release Q1 of 2021

Let's see if Time Machine works again. It fails for me in the preparing backup stage.
Oddly Big Sur is the first macOS beta release of the last few years that I haven't had any time machine issues with. Catalina betas were a horror show for corrupted sparsebundles and lets spend 9 hours deleting everything in time machine and start again.

Hopefully they fixed Safari 14 occasionally crashing with some background image. See it happening with CNN site a bit with beta 9, you can be using the browser for a long time, then boom it quits. Sometimes Safari does this when you first use it after reboot too.

Apple cares very little about PlayStation and Xbox is. That has nothing to do with their profit margin‘s, and they don’t care if they release a product on the same day as Sony or Microsoft.

If the build has gone from C to G does this mean it has more bugs and is less likely to be released? And if so, why release a more buggy beta than the previous beta 9?

More likely is this...
Last week of October: Apple releases Big Sur GM.
First week in November, probably either November 2 or November 4: Apple announces event for the second week of November, most likely either the ninth, 10th, or the 12th.
November event: Apple introduces new 16 inch Intel MacBook Pro, new 13 inch Apple powered MacBook Pro, new 24 inch Apple powered iMac, and new 12 inch Apple powered MacBook.
Big Sur is released immediately after the event, along with the new 13 and 16 inch MacBook Pro s.
New redesigned iMac and 12 inch MacBook release in December, running 11.0.1.

That’s a long time between GM and public release.

i see it here. 3.82gb on an imac? seems very small? is this a bootable install? cant be at that size surely?

That would not be the full installer. I'm presuming you're running an earlier beta, so what you'd be seeing is the size of the "delta" update that only carries the changes.
