“… With this functionality, IT departments at companies and educational institutions can manage Vision Pro headsets in the same way they manage iPhones, iPads, and Macs …”

At an educational institution? An AVP lab? Aside from the $$$ hurdle, how would the IT departments “manage” individual (time-consuming) user setup which is necessary each a different user puts on an AVP.
Management Profile. A simple template that accommodates to specific users or groups of users.
Same as with iPads and iPhones. Not an issue.

No issues at all since installing it and I’ve yet to really notice a difference between it and 1.0.3 other than after setting up the persona again it looks way better than it did originally but I’ve really been primarily in Safari. I did check Disney+ out and it works without any issues. We’ll see what things are like in the other apps I use tomorrow after work. Unlike some of the reports about the previous beta’s and I didn’t have it crash or notice any funny behaviors after installing it that required a hard restart to resolve.

I got home today after taking the AVP off last evening and removing the optical inserts and it told me it had crashed and asked if it was OK to submit feedback to Apple. I noted it in the comments and sent the feedback. I’m not sure if it crashed when I took the optical inserts out or at some other point during the evening, morning or afternoon after I had the lenses out and had set it down to charge. No issues since then so far this evening either other than having to re-do the eye setup. My optometrist had new contacts for me to try out that I took home with me today and he wants me to wear them for a few days to let him know if I like the one in my left eye or right eye better from a comfort prospective before he orders a style that may cost more but may be more comfortable in my eyes after all day use. I used to wear nothing but contacts in my teens and twenties but as I hit my 30’s glasses started being back in style and I’ve slowly reduced my contact usage over time. For a while I’d go weeks without every throwing any in.

Wow! And the positioning of the headset, the light shield, and the strap fitting are automatically adjusted when users logs in and their individual management profile is applied? There must be a robotic arm at each station then that takes care of the physical setup …

Simple. Those will be assigned to the individual users.
That would prevent health issues due to direct contact to skin.
