Short memory or rose-tinted glasses.

Early iOS builds were infinitely more buggy. Early OS X builds were massively unstable too.
 
I'm on the GM release of sierra, and my 2013 13" retina MBP shows a black screen with a note in several languages to press any key to reboot, when I open my lid each morning. I've found sites that mention apps like duet or other screen tools. I removed them, but am still having this issue.

Can anyone confirm that these beta's fix this issue?
