My friend is having trouble installing on her iPhone SE. It keeps giving the "Unable to Install Update" error. She's tried reinstalling the beta profile, restarting the phone, and re-downloading the update, nothing is working. Any advice?

The iOS 12 beta program pretty much set the bar. Those betas from the start were better than iOS 11. So far I have held off with 13 but when it looks a little more stable I’ll put it on a non critical iPad 5. Can’t wait to check out the new features!

Does anyone know much about why Reminders doesn't sync between my desktop which is on High Sierra and my phone which is running the last IOS 13 public beta? Will that be fixed eventually? I notice when I log into iCloud on my safari the reminders says 'coming soon'. Does that mean 'soon' or in September? Thanks.

Apple changed stuff behind the scenes with Reminders. They don't sync with devices that are running an OS lower than iOS 13, macOS Catalina, or watchOS 6.

I have only had it for a little bit but seems smoother than PB 2 on my XS Max and IPP 12.9. My biggest annoyance with PB 2 was the "lagginess" of the home screen and touch response in general. This seems to be resolved in PB 3 so far.
Like other have said - this is a beta. Bugs are to be expected.

Will that be fixed in a coming Beta?

There’s nothing to fix. The reminders format has changed behind the scenes for all the new betas. In order for them to sync across the entire Apple ecosystem, you need all the new operating systems - ios13, pados and Catalina.

Id like to know this as well

I am seeing some apps crashing here and there (most likely due to them not being updated for 13 yet).

main issue I am seeing is around keyboard usage - when going to try and type in various apps, the keyboard may not come up resulting in me closing the app and restarting. It was happening each time I would leave the app for a moment and return as well, so it’s a bit annoying. Other than that, it’s been relatively fine working through things.

Some third party apps will crash on launch. See iOS 13 Working, Broken and Meh apps for some of these apps.

As for the built-in apps, most apps have been surprisingly stable for me (e.g., Calendar, Home, Messages, Notes, Phone, Safari, Wallet). But few have been pretty erratic, most notably Mail and Maps.

And for the iOS itself, it rarely froze on me and it is actually noticeably faster and responsive than iOS 12.
Iv'e had real good luck as well.

Interesting. So on older iMacs that are not able to use Catalina are you saying I just need to delete my Reminders app, forever?

Re-arrange apps is still very buggy. Many apps ( especially “Find My”) refuse to be moved to a different location. The screen freezes and it takes several pushes to the home button to stop it (8 plus). I reported this since public beta 1 in the feedback assistant and I haven’t seen reports on similar issues by other users.

I’ve had issues with the files app not updating new files being added from my Mac and some files stuck in downloading so I hope this fixes that issue. I have 2nd Gen iPad Pro

Also delete it on new Macs that can run Catalina but on which you want to retain the ability to run 32 bit apps like Aperture.

Well this seems to be pretty stable and fixing a lot of bugs. For example for me major ones were - mail app, casting through Netflix and YouTube, message app crash. All these seems to be fixed now
