I hope it fixes an issue where Apple Music pauses for a few seconds and then resumes. It’s not my internet. It started with HomePod 16.0.

I'm afraid to apply the HomePod app update. Last time it took about 45 minutes. Also, why isn't there an update progress bar? The spinning circle doesn't help and tells you much.

Every HomePod or ATV update breaks something working just fine before.

My ATV 4K Gen 3 remote USBC - volume stopped working. I can see it registering with the light but does nothing on screen.

OG HomePods refuse any commands the first time, must ask twice. Dumbest stuff ever. Wasn't that way before the last update lol.

And Apple wants to charge even MORE for an Ultra iPhone 🤨 - no

My ATV remote volume controls also stopped working with this update. Any fix so far? I tried re-adding the remote in the settings, but volume buttons still don’t do anything.

This has been an ongoing problem for me since before 16.3, with a 2021 Apple TV. For me, restarting the remote solves the problem.

Update all 5 OGs to 16.3.1, and unfortunately they’re still not responding first time to turn lights on/off request, must ask a second time…

Does it fix the issue with lossless music pausing constantly? 16.3 made my HomePod minis do that constantly. And if Airplaying a song from the iPhone, it the phone idles and then goes to the Lock Screen, when you unlock the phone and go to the Music app, the HomePod goes silent — you have to tap pause and then play again to get the music to resume.

Please oh please fix the TV Remote connection issues. My wife told me if it doesn't get fixed soon, we have to drop the TV. And I hate every other platform.

I have the exact same issue with my partner. If it’s not fixed it has to go 😂. When I went to the Apple Store twice and told them the control keep getting disconnected they thought I was making it up… I got my control replaced once and issues persistent. This is an extremely annoying issue for the quality and price of Apple products
