That’s the fun thing about Apple’s release notes. They never mention the little bug fixes and improvements (or regressions) that people often notice most. Can never really be sure what’s in there.

I'm pleasantly surprised that my ATV 4 from 2015, is still getting OS updates. I've been looking for excuses to buy a new ATV but as long as my ATV is still receiving support, i'll hold off on the purchase.

17.1 also fixed an issue iTunes Match users (remember them?) had been having since 17.0 where they couldn't use the TvOS Music app to play songs from their Library! Huzzah!

Ok. We're all good. No need to panic. I tried that "later" option again just now and it worked. I guess yesterday there was a glitch in the matrix or something.
