either try rebooting or sign out of your Apple Account and back in.
Tried both. Neither helped. I signed out of the store only. I didn’t remove my entire account from the Apple TV or do a reset, but I really don’t want to do either of those.

Usually when that happens for me actually opening the tv app and letting things load up will return the up next info.
Not sure if this will help, but have you tried quitting the Apple TV app? Double-press the home button, and then swiping away Apple TV?
Everyone saying they "lost their top shelf" are the same types that say their phone or computer is "broken". It's in the settings...after ANY major update, go through each setting to see what's moved or changed before posting that something is missing, broken or "doesn't work anymore".
Btw, since I believe you started that epic iCloud tabs thread from several years ago, I figured you'd enjoy hearing that iCloud tabs in safari are borked once again -- you have to close and reopen Safari to get them to refresh!I tried resetting the Apple TV and that didn’t fix it.
Also how my Apple TV 4K 2nd gen keeps disconnecting from Ethernet and switching to Wi-Fi and back constantly.
Are they ever gonna get rid of the movies and tv shows “app”?
Settings>Apps>TV>Top ShelfNo settings changed. Simple it was there prior to upgrading and gone after and nothing I’ve tried so far gets it back. I’m currently doing a reset. I’m assuming that won’t work either. I’m guessing if I contact Apple they’ll want me to delete all 50+ items in my Up Next.
Have two Apple TV's. One updated very quickly and the top shelf was there. The other updated very, very slowly and is missing the top shelf for apple tv.I upgraded to TVOS 18 on my Apple TV 4K and I lost the Up Next top shelf on the TV app. It just shows the Apple TV logo. I tried toggling to what to watch and back and it’s the same.
Any idea how to get the up next top shelf back?
That is so completely condescending and ignorant. See my post above regarding updates of my two Apple TVs. Try to gain some humility.Everyone saying they "lost their top shelf" are the same types that say their phone or computer is "broken".
